Noticing the weight of the body against the surface that you're resting on,
Noticing your feet on the floor,
Feeling gravity ground you,

Where do you feel the breath most strongly,
Whether at the belly,
The chest,
The nose or anywhere else,
Just hold your attention there and when you feel your mind has drifted off,
Gently bring it back to where you notice the breath the most,
No need to change anything,
The body knows how to breathe,
Noticing the in and the out,

When you catch yourself being awful and stuck in your head,
You can practice noticing the breath,
Noticing how the body feels,
You can give yourself a brief break,
You can then start to introduce more neutral or kinder self-talk,
It does take time but it is so worth it because it's part of looking after yourself,
Taking it easy on yourself is not about glossing over unhealthy or unhelpful behaviours or situations,
Taking things easy on yourself is about not making things any worse,
It's about accepting what is,
Being accountable,
Sitting with it and having the emotional,
Spiritual,
Mental and physical space to move forward in a healthy positive direction and taking it easy on yourself makes it easier for you to do that,
So let's take a minute just to reflect and when you're ready,
Gently come back to the space around you and take it easy on yourself,
