Life and the goings-on in our minds pulls us this way and that and at times we,
We neglect ourselves.
We do.
So it can be very useful to come back regularly to sit down and to check in on how well we're looking after ourselves.
So let's do that now.
Finding a comfortable position gently close the eyes and sense how you feel right now in this moment.
How do you feel emotionally?
You can be honest,
It's just you.
How charged is your battery?
And then how do you feel physically?
Just noticing,
Being open and honest with yourself in this moment.
You know they say you can't pour from an empty cup and that's true,
But equally you don't want your cup so full it spills over.
So taking a minute now to reflect on how you might better care for yourself today and over the coming days as though you were someone you deeply,
Deeply love,
You deeply care for and are in charge of looking after.
And as we come to the end of this practice I would like to remind you that you are one of a kind,
Unique,
There's only one of you.
You're loved and cherished so please take very good care of yourself and when life takes you left,
Right,
Up,
Down and through the washing machine know that you can always come back,
Sit with yourself and reflect on okay,
I might have fallen off track a little bit but that's fine,
I'm human and life is life,
How can I better care for myself?
