Hi,
I'm Nami and welcome to this short guided meditation that's gonna get you ready for a peaceful night's sleep so it's probably helpful for you to begin by lying down,
Make sure that you're comfortable,
Really comfortable if there's anything you need to do to make yourself more comfortable,
Please do it now and very gently close your eyes,
Just scan around the body with your mind notice how the body feels,
Notice how good it feels to lie down after a long day notice the breath as it enters and leaves the body and with every out breath you feel yourself sinking further down,
More relaxed into your bed oh,
Notice how good it feels to close your heavy eyelids after a long day,
Resting your tired eyes you really do deserve a really good rest tonight and as you settle,
Just to get rid of any debris from the day start to take some deep breaths in through your nose to the count of four and then out through your mouth to the count of four and just very gently take three or four deep in breaths through your nose to the count of four followed by slow out breaths to the count of four through your mouth with every inhale and exhale you're getting closer and closer to sleep with every breath the stress of your day can just melt away as you allow the breath just to return to its natural rhythm your body is slowing down and getting ready for deep rest if your mind starts to drift to thinking about today's events or tomorrow's to-do lists just notice it,
It's perfectly natural don't judge it,
When you notice that your mind has wandered just gently bring the thoughts back to your comfortable bed and the beautiful peaceful in-breath and out-breath and the promise of a lovely deep night's sleep every breath brings you closer to the sweet relaxation of sleep that you so deserve you've done more than enough today and your mind and body are ready to rest now so very slowly just do anything that you need to do to make yourself more comfortable before you drift off peacefully into the sweet relaxation of sleep good night
