Day 12: The Third Eye

Sitting between our eyes and being physically connected to the brain, pituitary, and pineal glands, this is the mind chakra, the third eye. It resonates with the energy of our psyche, as well as our conscious and unconscious psychological tendencies. This is the chakra of intuition, wisdom and our sixth sense. This is about waking up, connecting to your soul or heart voice and beginning to ignite intuition.

Let's begin with an upright position. Sitting straight. Sitting relaxed. Breathing in through the lower chakras. Breathing up into heart space. Opening up the throat. Bringing our focus. The space between the eyes on the forehead. Noticing the focused energy. Breathing in. Allowing this area to begin to relax. This muscle in the eyebrow. The scalp. The forehead. Imagining purple light. Beginning to expand. And as it expands. Imagining your eyes are opening. And the third eye opens. Clarity. Focus. Intuition. As you breathe in, You notice. As you breathe in, You notice the purple expanding. You float in the purple. Begin to feel awake. Clear. As your mind quiets. Your intuition ignites. Your brain becomes quiet. Focus your thoughts. Slow. You begin to see. You notice as you float in the purple. What comes up for you. Breathing in. You notice that as the purple expands. You feel open. You feel your imagination. You feel that creativity. You feel that knowingness inside you. Clearly and confidently. This area of the body influences hormones. Ignition. Integration in the brain. Focus. So as you work with this area. You notice what's coming up. You stay with the focus. And on your exhales, Releasing. Coming back to opening the area on your inhale. Noticing what's there. Releasing on the exhale. As the music fades. Taking as long as you like. Spending time in the purple. Releasing what comes out. You notice as you float in the purple. You feel the energy.
