This method is designed to appeal to anyone at any level of meditation experience. We’ll start with basic practice and then walk up to a 40-minute guided meditation over the time together (available to you at your discretion). It is no small thing to meditate for 28 days. Resistance to sitting down to do a meditation session is VERY common and will happen to all of us at some point. Simple actions are not always easy actions, but there is much to be gained by staying the course.

The beginning.

Bringing your awareness into your body.

Using your eyes,

Sinking into your cushion.

Bringing in a deep inhale.

And exhaling.

Bringing your awareness in your feet.

Scanning for tension.

And with your exhale,

Releasing tension.

Inhale.

Scanning for tension in your legs.

Exhale releasing any tension.

Bringing awareness to your abdomen.

Breathing into your abdomen.

Scanning for tension.

And on your exhale,

Releasing tension.

From your abdomen,

Your organs,

Your muscles,

And your bones.

Breathing in.

And bringing your awareness to your heart.

Scanning for tension,

Emotion.

And on your exhale,

Releasing.

Inhale into your heart.

And on your exhale,

Relax and release.

Bringing your awareness into your neck.

Scanning for tension in the muscles.

Your traps down your arm,

Into your forearms.

Wiggling your fingers.

Finding tension.

And on your exhale,

Relax.

Release.

Bringing your awareness to your head and your thoughts.

Scanning for tension.

And on your exhale,

Releasing.

Bringing your awareness to the top of your head.

Inhaling energy.

And on your exhale,

Opening the top of your head.

Quieting the mind.

Release.

Relax.
