Welcome back.
I'm excited to spend a few minutes together wherever you are.
If the floor is available I will be inviting you there.
This can also be done seated in a chair or lying down on a bed or a couch.
Make your way onto the floor.
Lay down with your back against the ground and the front of your body open towards the ceiling.
If comfortable allow your eyes to gently close or find a soft place for them to rest.
Stretch your arms and legs out with a nice long spine and imagine you are an ice sculpture.
What might it look like?
What shape might it be?
How would it feel?
Have your body be hard,
Solid and still.
Without hurting yourself squeeze your muscles tight,
Tight,
Tight and then let them go.
We will do that two more times.
Tighten your face and arms and legs and belly and back tight,
Tight,
Tight and then let them go.
And this last time everything tight your face,
Your hair,
Your toes,
Your fingers,
Your eyes tight,
Tight,
Tight and let everything go.
Now pretend that your ice sculpture is about to melt.
Slowly let the parts of your body get soft as they begin to melt into the floor.
Without moving from this laying down place imagine your arms melting,
Your legs melting,
Your back and belly melting,
Your face melting.
Everything little by little becoming a soft puddle on the floor.
Feel your whole body here without moving.
Take your time and as you feel ready return to your body and then slowly return to your day.
