Welcome to practice.

My name is Neil Saligman,

Founder of The Conscious Professional.

Thank you for joining me today for this guided mindfulness meditation focusing on new beginnings.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable posture and by bringing your awareness to the breath.

Take a few moments,

Let yourself arrive and allow the breath to draw you gently into internal awareness.

Allow the gaze to soften and if appropriate for your circumstances,

The eyes to close.

As the breath becomes primary in your experience,

Notice the rhythm of the breath,

Just as it is.

Sense the newness of each inhale.

Notice the uniqueness of each exhale.

When we really notice the breath,

We realize that everything is new.

This arising moment has never been seen or experienced before in human history.

Feeling the feet on the floor,

Feeling those points of contact between the body and the ground.

Noticing the internal sensations of the body breathing.

The rise and fall of the lungs.

The heartbeat.

The processes of organs and muscles and bones.

And as we dive into the newness of this physical moment of now,

Allowing the warmth of our own awareness to flood the body.

To flood the body with kind,

Compassionate awareness.

A warming,

Forgiving vibration.

As we find our own pause,

We notice once again the heart.

The heart as the center of compassion and love,

But also the most powerful electromagnetic organ in the body.

Feeling the potential of heart and mind and body when connected by the electricity of our own awareness.

As we arrive with everything we brought with us to practice today,

The space of newness allows us to give everything that we brought with us space to breathe.

As we integrate our experiences,

The potential of new ideas,

New insights,

New creations.

We open to the creative spark that resides within the field of mindful awareness.

We open to the quieter movements,

The waves of our inner being.

The whispers of the body.

The whispers of the heart.

And the whispers of mind that sit just below the thinking brain.

And in the space of contemplation,

We start to notice the newness that is already in the process of arising within.

As we breathe,

We fill out this awareness with light,

With the vibration of kind attendance to this breathing body.

We notice that which went unnoticed.

The quieter streams.

Giving yourself permission to listen.

Giving yourself permission to be patient.

To wait in presence.

Unconditional patience.

Unconditional patience.

And so the adventure of the present moment arises.

Full of choice.

Full of vibrance.

Full of vitality.

Full of joy.

And full of love.

Reflecting for yourself where you will take this energy.

And then reflecting where this energy will take you.

Residing in the stillness.

We listen to the new delights that are moving through us today in this season of new beginnings.

Gradually allowing this practice to dissolve as we return to the breath and the body.

Flowing with the inhales and the exhales.

And in your very own time.

Allowing your eyes to open.

Thank you for joining me in practice today.

"Unconditional patience" was something I desperately needed to hear on this day. Thank you. Life, once more, happens for me and leads me where I need to be.
