So today let's talk about planning our day.

We've all had mornings where the day ahead feels overwhelming.

Tasks pile up in our minds and before we know it anxiety takes over and we kind of get into this paralysis state.

But planning our day mindfully can help transform this anxiety into a sense of clarity and calm.

So let's start by taking a gentle breath in and out.

Just allowing yourself this moment to pause.

Your body supported by your seat.

Maybe your feet firmly on the ground.

And let's just notice how one single intentional breath can create space between you and the demands of the day.

So now instead of mentally rushing through your to-do list,

Try to picture yourself calmly moving through each task one at a time.

See yourself responding rather than reacting to whatever comes up.

And that subtle shift in perspective can ease the pressure and it can help allow you to experience a sense of control and steadiness.

Take another slow breath in and out.

Noticing the simplicity of this moment.

And as Annie Dillard once said,

How we spend our days is of course how we spend our lives.

And that's a reminder that the quality of each day shapes our entire journey.

So today try to carry this mindful intention with you.

Plan gently.

Act deliberately.

And let each small step build towards a meaningful day.
