Good morning.
This is your time to arrive gently into the day.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down,
Whatever helps you feel open and at ease.
Let your body soften,
Let your breath slow down,
Be present and take a deep,
Slow breath in.
Let's do it again.
Breathe in deeply through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth,
Allowing any tension to melt away.
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to rush,
Just this moment,
Just this breath,
Just being in the now,
Held,
Safe.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your jaw soften,
Let your belly relax,
Your hands open.
You are already doing enough simply by being here,
By breathing.
Now begin to sense the morning around you,
The light,
The stillness,
The quiet hum of a new day.
This is your reminder.
You don't have to launch into your day.
You can arrive into it breath by breath and have a slow morning.
Each inhale,
An invitation to begin again,
Each exhale,
An invitation to let go.
Begin,
Breathe in slow and breathe out slower.
Stay with your breath,
Inhaling,
Slowing it down,
Being so present,
Exhaling out,
Indulging into each moment,
Allowing yourself to just be,
To listen,
To receive.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Feel the gentle rise of each inhale,
Gently expanding your chest,
Your heart,
Opening.
And with each exhale,
Surrender,
Relax,
Release.
Feel the space in between the inhale and the exhale,
The transition,
The transformation.
In this stillness,
Let an intention for your day gently rise to the surface.
Don't force it.
Let it come naturally,
A word,
A feeling,
A way you want to move through the day.
Let it come,
Let it come,
And breathe it out.
I'll be back with a bell to close out our time together.
Be with your intention,
Breathe it in and breathe it out.
Now begin to bring gentle movement into your body.
Just take a nourishing,
Deep,
Slow breath in,
Infusing your intention for your day into every cell of your body.
Moving your fingers gently with mindfulness,
Your toes softly,
Maybe even a stretch with your arms above your head or out in front of you,
And adding a gentle,
Soft sigh.
Let the breath deepen naturally,
Just tuning in to the awakeness,
To the aliveness,
To the alertness.
Gently open your eyes,
Ready for this day ahead.
As you move into your morning,
Carry this slowness with you,
This softness,
This inner space of opportunity and possibility.
Thank you for starting your day with me and with presence.
Have a wonderful day.
