Here's a little story about jealousy.
As a kid I remember experiencing a lot of jealousy which didn't really feel good.
I remember it caused me a lot of pain.
Over the years I learned to work with this difficult emotion.
We often associate jealousy as negative,
But actually it can become one of your biggest manifesting tools showing you what you want next for yourself.
The last two years I found myself feeling jealous of people who were experiencing big changes in their life.
You know the ones that are unearthing their surroundings and disrupting their status quo.
I always thought it was a strange thing for me to feel jealous about.
Why would I want my life disrupted in such a huge way?
Since I know that jealousy is here to guide me,
I leaned in.
I started to ask myself questions.
The self-inquiry revealed a big pile of fear and resistance blocking the big change that I so deeply craved.
The truth was I felt stuck,
Addicted to comfort and the familiarity of living in the same apartment for 21 years.
I could feel the grip of my old identity holding me hostage,
Not letting me go or grow.
Jealousy actually helped me break free.
It was a catalyst to change.
And guess what?
I have arrived at my own personal moment of unearthing.
I did a thing,
A big thing.
I settle at my place for eight months,
Open to expansion and adventure,
Gracefully welcoming the unknown as I feel all the feels.
Because sometimes it's not about knowing where I'm going,
But just knowing it can no longer be here.
So the first stop is Bethesda,
Maryland to spend precious time with my mom.
So stay tuned for the unfolding.
And I invite you to pay attention to what you might feel jealous about and let it guide you into what you want next.
