Welcome to Connect2Calm.

I'm Lisa Mehta.

Let's begin with a deep breath in and a big,

Deep sigh breath out.

It's going to sound something like this.

Just allow your shoulders to rise up with the inhale.

And on the exhale,

You just let them drop down,

Just relaxing in to the gravity.

An audible sigh will tell your whole nervous system everything is going to be okay.

And this will connect you to your calm.

If you are feeling anxious,

Just know that calm is right there with it.

Because calm doesn't exist without chaos.

Everything is moving with its counterpart.

So if you want to connect to your calm,

You must also acknowledge the chaos,

The anxiety,

The fear,

The charged energy moving through you.

This energy is talking to you.

It's asking you to listen,

Because each emotion holds wisdom.

Each emotion is a messenger.

You are not the emotion,

You are the observer of it.

It is important to not make any emotion good or bad.

It is just a sensation moving through you.

Learning to build your emotional portfolio,

Which is your relationship to each emotion,

Will serve you in finding ways to transform and change the way you feel.

Just like that.

So I invite you to get to know your anxiety,

Your frustration,

Your confusion,

Your panic.

Because each emotion will show up to guide you if you choose to follow.

So if you are feeling any of these things,

You are on the edge of the tornado.

Letting it whip you around,

The strong winds and momentum can be a rush of energy that sometimes feels good.

But it can also pull you away from your center.

Chaos,

Anxiety,

Confusion,

They are all on the outside of the center.

These are connected to something that might happen in the future,

Or thoughts of what did happen in the past.

They are not the present moment.

Use your breath to bring you back to the present moment,

Where calm connection and centeredness live.

This is where you will find harmony.

This is where you can access new perspectives.

Because the things around you may not change,

But the way you see them can.

Sometimes to know calm,

We must also know the other energies.

Because to see what it is,

You must know what it isn't.

Calm is stillness.

Calm is centered.

Calm is trust.

Calm will allow you to make decisions from a grounded place,

A place where your mind is open to possibilities.

So let's take a moment to breathe and connect to calm and abundance.

Find a comfortable seated position.

Just close your eyes.

Take a nice deep breath in and feel the rise and expansion of your body.

And on the exhale,

Allow your shoulders to drop just a little more.

Relax your spine,

Your head,

And any gripping or tension.

Just let it go.

Use your exhales to release and relax into the calm.

Indulge in the inhale as you breathe in and expand into this moment.

Relaxing and melting down as you breathe out the perfection of this very moment.

In this moment,

You are calm.

In this moment,

You are safe.

In this moment,

You are connected.

Feel the breath as you breathe in,

The rise of your chest,

Connecting to the sensations.

Exhale out.

Feel the release,

The sensations of letting go.

On your next inhale,

Deepen your breath in.

Take in a little more.

Push the edges of what you are ready to receive.

At the top of the inhale,

See if you can just sip in a little more and really feel the fullness of life inside of you.

And when you feel ready,

Let out a huge exhale.

Sigh it out with the sound of ah.

Breathe in.

Open up to the willingness to be different,

To see things differently.

Breathe out.

Perspective shifts are always there for you.

You have already done a powerful step.

You have arrived here.

A moment to pause,

To reflect,

To choose differently.

Where your attention goes,

Your life flows.

Bring your attention to your desire for calm,

To live in flow and harmony with the world around you.

Breathe in flow.

Breathe out flow.

Breathe in calm.

Breathe out calm.

We will just finish off by breathing in three statements to program your mind.

And as you breathe in,

Repeat to yourself silently,

I am calm.

I am at peace.

I am in harmony.

Everything is going to be okay.

Hello beautiful friend!! This was so lovely and really calming. It was just what I needed in this moment of whirlwind. My eyes were tearing up in deep appreciation and admiration, and it was so wonderful seeing your name and meditation pop up when I opened the App today. 💕 The only note is the music was perfect, yet the volume was a bit too loud. 🙏🏻

Thank you for your loving guidance and wisdom of how integral chaos is to accessing a state of calm. We can only know what calm is by recognising what it isn't. Namaste 🙏☯️
