Today's pose is the Square pose, a forward bend that releases the tension in your tight outer hips, and lower back! Please have at least two blankets, a bolster/cushion, and a block. Enjoy this 5-day series to help support and rebalance your body and mood. Yin yoga targets the main joints of the body, where your pain and discomfort are the greatest. As you come into each pose with props, discomfort is exactly what you want to feel; pain is not. As your body releases, the discomfort softens...it's magical! Each day includes one yin pose, and one minute of silent reflection. This series is for anyone who doesn't have a lot of time but needs a little relief. P.S. Please consider writing a review to share how long you'd prefer to hold the square pose...3 minutes was perfect, could have stayed for 10, 1 minute was tough...I'd love to know!
