Today's pose is Sphinx, a backbend to smooth out the days' stress and rounded posture. Please have a blanket across your mat, to cushion your hip and pelvic bones. Enjoy this 5-day series to help support and rebalance your body and mood. Yin yoga targets the main joints of the body, where your pain and discomfort are the greatest. As you come into each pose with props, discomfort is exactly what you want to feel; pain is not. As your body releases, the discomfort softens...it's magical! Each day includes one yin pose, and one minute of silent reflection. This series is for anyone who doesn't have a lot of time but requires a little relief. P.S.
