I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.
My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.
Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.
By promoting relaxation,
Reducing stress and anxiety,
And improving sleep and mood,
Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.
Today is day number 22.
Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.
Close your eyes.
Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And then exhale through your mouth,
Helping your entire body to relax.
As you continue to breathe,
Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.
The focus for today's meditation is on cultivating resilience.
Take a moment to acknowledge that you are in a time of transition.
Menopause can bring many physical and emotional changes and it can be challenging to navigate these changes with grace and ease.
But it is also a time of opportunity for growth and transformation.
Allow yourself to be present in this moment,
Reminding yourself that you are strong and capable.
You have already faced many challenges in your life and you have the inner resources to face whatever comes your way.
Imagine yourself as a tree rooted deeply in the earth.
Like a tree,
You can withstand strong winds and storms,
Bending and swaying but not breaking.
You have the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and the resilience to bounce back from setbacks.
Focusing on your breath,
Allow yourself to feel a sense of calm and stillness.
In this space of inner peace,
You can connect with your inner wisdom and intuition.
You can listen to your body and respond with compassion and kindness.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Visualize a warm and comforting light surrounding you,
Enveloping you in a cocoon of love and protection.
Allow yourself to feel supported and nurtured and grounded,
Knowing that you are not alone on this journey.
As you continue with your day,
Remember the resilience that you already have within you and know that you can face whatever comes your way with strength,
Grace and ease.
And now,
In your mind's eye,
I want you to picture your beautiful face.
And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me,
Out loud.
I am resilient and strong.
I embrace the changes that come with menopause and trust my body's wisdom.
I am capable of managing any challenges that arise during this transition.
I am grateful for the lessons that menopause teaches me about myself and my body.
I trust that I am supported by the universe and that I am never alone in this journey.
I allow myself to rest and take the time I need to care for my mind,
Body and soul.
I am worthy of love and respect and I honour my unique journey through menopause.
I am grateful for the gifts that come with aging and the wisdom that comes with experience.
I embrace my femininity and honour the sacredness of this time in my life.
I am at peace with the changes that come with menopause and trust the journey ahead.
When you are ready,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
Roll your shoulders back and down.
Slowly begin to blink your eyes open.
