I came in to this course very angry feeling like a victim to my mood swings. I leave with the profound insight and paradigm shift that my body wants me to let go of taking care of other people’s feelings for them (co-dependence). My stomach can’t hold the old anger, bitterness and resentment anymore from blaming my family of origin for denying the dysfunctional behaviour I grew up with. It’s time for me to break away from that behaviour and the unhealthy relationship patterns I learned. I set an intention to actively work towards taking care of only my feelings.

I have been absolutely miserable (!) the last few years with my symptoms, as a Highly Sensitive Person perimenopause has hit me especially hard. Severe(!!) insomnia, night sweats, near-constant fatigue, a sudden “spare tire” where my “6 pack” was that refuses(!) to budge, vision problems have replaced my 20/20 vision, and the worst by far…melasma😔 I went from being an outgoing, fun, person to hiding in my home, too fatigued to do anything and too self conscious from the large dark patches on my face- very depressing. Lately I’ve been more angry than sad however, as I’ve attempted to find ANY research, any help ANY …anything! All I found was more proof that our patriarchal culture seriously devalues women. I felt so hopeless, angry, and disgusted by Western medicine I fell into a deep depression for 2 days…then I saw this course and…wow!😃 Thank you so much for these reminders. I felt seen, validated, and am in full agreement with everything you shared. THIS was what I needed to hear. I’ll be sharing this with friends and listening again. Phenomenal. This is what I truly believe deep down. I am not broken. The past few years have been challenging for me with mold illness and perimenopause, but I have found that faith and belief in a positive future are the keys to rewiring our limbic system. I’m having some challenging symptoms this month and this is giving me the encouragement I need. I don’t tolerate HRT and I felt so disappointed about that but now I am feeling encouraged.
