This course takes a contemplative approach to discovering the power of your brain, and how you can understand your own mind with greater clarity. We can remove misconceptions, beliefs, and lies that we may have been telling ourselves, to experience the truth and reality directly without having to create a story about it. Through contemplative questions, you have the opportunity to explore your brain in this present moment. Discovering what is and is not true. Releasing beliefs that create suffering and struggle, and connecting to a greater truth and reality that can benefit your life and help the mind detach from suffering. In this journey we will be exploring your belief systems that are hindering your happiness, enhancing your awareness on your emotions and feelings and their direct link to your thoughts, finding freedom from the mind narrator/labeller to discover a space of stillness and silence, and going beyond the mind to explore what you truly are. All of these topics will be enhanced with practices for you to experience them first hand and embrace a deeper awareness to master your mind.

Carrie Suwal is a professional intuitive, energy healer, a student of the world, exploring different spiritual paths and practices and a constant truth seeker! Emotions and feelings are instigated by beliefs and thoughts. You have creative control of your beliefs by utilizing your thoughts as a catalyst for change. Shifting your emotional landscape can be easier when we have our mind on our side, working towards greater ease. Understanding the relationship between mind and emotions and feelings may calm the storms of your everyday life and your reactions.

Transforming Emotions

Challenge your beliefs and your views on the interconnectedness of thoughts and feelings. We will use contemplation to gain useful clarity on how your thoughts affect how you feel. Learn about the many hats that the brain wears in regards to our body. Questioning which hats are necessary to survival, and which we can retire. The Inner Narrator

In our contemplative practice we will find greater insight about your inner narrator. How is your life being affected by the way you are narrating your life experiences? We will look at the questions: -Do I need to narrate my life in my thoughts? -Is it possible to stop my inner narrator? -What would happen if I allowed myself to just be, to just experience, without needing to have an opinion about it?

Overcoming Mental Barriers

Our minds are jam packed with excuses and reasons to leave the mind in charge and running 24/7. This creates barriers to thinking the positive thoughts we desire, and living the life we are called to live. It occupies our energy, time and resources by creating anxiety, stress and fear. We can take back our personal power and release control of the mind by using acceptance and power. Both are needed in this life, yet they are polar opposites. We know that the mind is the one who creates our suffering. How can we put the mind in check to end our suffering? Let’s explore this today.

You are ready to become aware of your awareness when you are ready to end your suffering. This course didn’t exactly go where I was expecting it to, but I still got a lot out of it! The second half of the course focuses entirely on detaching from identifying with your thoughts/your mind. I was hoping to work more on changing our thought patterns, since we all do have to engage with our thoughts to communicate with others and do our work in this world. I really enjoyed the journaling prompts in the sessions, and Carrie was very responsive to questions/comments in the classroom!🫶🏼

This is an incredibly helpful and beautiful course! It has helped me to realize that I CAN choose to release my thoughts and realize they are not ME! I took this course at a time when I was literally feeling tortured by the constant flow, negativity, and repetition of my thoughts. I was desperate to find a way to end this - and doing this course was so incredibly helpful. I took my time, often listening to the same day over and over when I needed to reinforce or better understand the teaching. I fully intend to take this course again and again, as it clearly has so much wisdom and excellent teachings. Carrie’s voice and the feeling it creates when listening is an essential part of the course. It conveys her unflappable faith and immersion into this collection of wisdom practices. One of the most helpful teachings for me was going to my heart, rather than my head, for feeling into my experience and finding what is most important. It reinforced the fact that while our minds can easily lead us astray (especially given the negativity bias), the heart is always true and where kindness and compassion lives in us always. Ask the heart. The answers will always be true (and WAY less complicated). I am so grateful to have stumbled upon this course. Once the flower is polinated fruit is always fruit. Part of that being is growing in ripeness. At some point the fruit is ripe enough to fall from the tree, be eaten by birds or animals when the seed (and the life within the plant-flower-fruit-seed Being) finds new opportunity to Be Itself. We too, are beings at different stages, yet all expressions of the same Aware Being. If this means anything to you, you may be "ripe". This course helps us fruit accept our place-and-time, letting go of that which was good enough to bring us to this point. It is like a midwife, guiding us to where we want to go, but maybe aren't aware of until it is happening. When it happens, we may recognise, "Ah! So This is what Carrie meant". Or at least, I think that's the idea. I am enjoying/struggling within the process. But it is really nice to know my struggle is part of All This. I need not be afraid... Love is growing more of Itself.

Carrie has a gift like no other to help individuals break free from the addictions of our afflictions attached to the mind. Her offerings are imbued with such deep compassion and encouragement coupled with simple, accessible, and practical ways to embody new ways of relating to the self without the attachment to our thoughts and emotions. The last day of the course brought it all home in the most magical experience. I truly felt consciousness in its purest form and there was no boundary between it and all things.
