The Body Love Program is a five-session exploration of the relationship you have with yourself and your body. Throughout the program, you will have an opportunity to: • examine narratives about your body that do not serve you • reflect on when/how those narratives developed and GET FREE on the hold they have on you • create narratives about your body that DO serve you • prioritize time for yourself, your joy, and your body’s pleasure • explore the REAL fear guiding any of your negative self-talk • be part of a community to support you in making aligned, and holistically healthy choices for yourself and your life Throughout each session, we will go through lessons and exercises that will support you in transforming your relationship with your body, self-esteem, and self-expression. These week-to-week practices, exercises, and rituals will intend to connect you with your body and spirit in a very satisfying way.


Meet your Teacher

When Chelsea’s body image-related anxiety and depression reached a low-point in her early twenties, she sought wisdom and guidance from a variety of practices and methodologies: personal development programs, meditation, movement-based therapy, plant medicine, and body image training for clinicians. Body Love and Beyond is a creative synthesis of the tools, principles, and perspectives that gave her peace and relief on her path. It is her intention that young women are given access to these tools so they can live freely and unencumbered by critical body narratives. Chelsea has been teaching Nia (holistic dance fitness) for six years and she has a 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Certificate. Chelsea is also a professional Ballroom Dance Instructor and creator/host of a health and wellness podcast. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University as a major in Cultural Studies and a minor in Psychology.

Lesson 1

Holding Space for Your Body Image

This session is an opportunity for you to explore the relationship you have with yourself and your body. You will get present to the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs you have about your body. It is only by getting present to your automatic ways of thinking and feeling about yourself that you can interrupt this already/always listening you have of your body.

Lesson 2

Reframing Narratives

In this session, you will reflect on the pivotal early moments where you developed some sort of conversation about not feeling good enough. You will look at the facts of what happened and inquire into the narrative you created around it. By distinguishing the facts versus the narrative (an occurring truth, not THE Truth) around each incident, you can be free of the hold these narratives have on you. You will then consciously create a new, more empowering narrative about yourself and your body.

Lesson 3

It's Not About Your Body

In this session, you will do an exercise to uncover the REAL fear driving any negative self-talk or negative body image. If your body were to change tomorrow, would you really feel any different about yourself and your life? Or is the negative body talk just a way of distracting your mind from your deeper fears? When you look your fear right in the face, that’s your access to power.

Lesson 4

Being In Relationship

In this session, you will inquire into the feelings and emotions you’ve been bringing to the relationship with each of your body parts. Usually, pain comes from a place of expectation. What expectations do you have of your body and are these expectations fair? From which societal narratives are these expectations coming from? By adopting a paradigm of appreciation, you will start to consciously choose the feelings and emotions you will bring to your relationship with your body.

Lesson 5

Being Complete

In this session, you will get deeply related to the “made-upness” of all beauty stories. There is only “Is-ness.” Inside of embracing the “Is-ness” of your being, you will become present to the idea that your beauty story is yours to author. You will do exercises to consciously create the “being-ness” you’ve always wanted to adopt for yourself and for your relationship with others.

Although I've never particularly liked my body and certain parts of my body, it was only recently that I realised how much this was affecting the way I feel generally and act in the world.
