This is an intention-setting guided meditation to start your week clear and connected. Welcome to today's intention setting meditation.

Energy follows intention,

So let's begin by rolling your shoulders down your spine,

Relaxing all expression in your face,

Your jaw,

Releasing the tongue from the top of your mouth,

And placing your palms on your knees,

Grounding,

Tuning inward,

Feeling the ground,

The earth beneath you,

Holding you.

Take a few deep,

Slow inhales and long,

Slow exhales,

Calming your nervous system,

Melting in deeper and deeper with each breath,

Sinking into your energy,

The energy within this day,

Listening to all the sounds that surround you,

Expanding your awareness,

Noticing the temperature on your skin,

How you feel in this moment physically,

Energetically and emotionally.

Taking a few more deep,

Slow inhales and long,

Releasing exhales,

Feeling your heartbeat in your chest,

Allowing everything to melt away for a moment.

Today's intention is to let go,

To let go of someone,

Something,

Someplace,

Some story or pattern at play in your life.

Letting go is one of the most challenging things to do,

And today,

Just for today,

Let go even a little bit,

Allowing the string to unravel,

The grip to loosen,

And begin to see this experience of someone,

Something,

Someplace,

Some story,

Something that's been on your heart and on your mind,

To see this now in front of you,

Seeing it and visualizing yourself holding on to a rope,

Representing your grip on the story,

The situation at play.

Just take a few deep breaths and feel yourself slowly begin to let go of this rope,

Loosening your grip,

Loosening this hold that this has over you and your life.

Whenever you are ready,

Gently let go of this rope and feel yourself sinking back,

Landing in the most beautiful,

Refreshing water,

Reviving you,

Giving you fresh energy from head to toe,

Giving your energy back to yourself,

Back to this moment.

See yourself floating for a moment in this water,

Being held,

Feeling tension release out of your body,

Just allowing yourself to be,

Receiving this beautiful sunlight washing over you.

Although it is tough to let go in some moments,

We can practice this a little bit each day,

Just unraveling and sink deeper back into ourselves,

Our essence,

Our home within.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Whenever you are ready,

Feel this energy of your intention of letting go,

Wash over you from head to toe,

Planting this deep within your heart space this morning,

Like a gardener plants a seed deep within the earth,

Aligning your mind,

Your body,

Your spirit,

Your energy with your intention to let go even just a little bit,

Knowing that it takes time and patience for your intention to grow,

Just like a seed into a flower.

Give yourself the time and space to come back to your intention,

Whenever you feel yourself tighten,

Constrict,

Hold on to something,

Someone,

Some situation,

A story,

A pattern,

And come back to your intention to let go,

Relaxing all muscles in your face,

Your body,

Your shoulders,

And just take a deep,

Slow inhale and a long,

Releasing exhale,

And whenever you are ready,

Whenever you feel called,

Placing your palms over your heart,

Sending love and light to yourself for your journey and all that you've been through,

Thanking yourself for setting your intention for this day,

This week,

To let go.

One more deep,

Slow inhale and a long,

Slow exhale,

And whenever you are ready,

Open up your eyes,

I hope you feel a little bit lighter and have the most beautiful day,

Sending all my love,

Thank you for being here and taking this time with yourself,

With your heart.
