The full moon has energies that guide us into our spiritual realm and you can direct where your focus is by exploring the energy around the past few weeks. This cold moon meditation is called Moon Release and Embrace.

We are not here by accident,

We are here by divine appointment.

Breathe deeply,

Experience completely,

And feel freely.

You might want to have your journal within arm's reach during this meditation.

Take a delicious deep cleansing breath,

And then another,

And then a final cleansing breath.

We just recently experienced the last moon phase before December 26 and the solar eclipse.

The winter starts in just a few days,

And it is the last full moon in this decade where we will enter the 2020 New Year in just a few weeks.

In numerology,

When reduced to its simplest form,

2020 is actually 4,

2,

And 0.

And when we look at those numbers,

Number 4 represents a firm foundation,

The number 2 is teamwork and relationships,

And the number 0 represents wholeness and infinite potential.

So the projection for the next year is a focus on all three.

Time to finalize,

Complete,

And consolidate.

Time to add order to our lives and embrace balance.

Time to focus on our home and family and relationships.

Time leading up to the full moon is abundant with trials and challenges to our thinking.

Emotions can be tense,

And we seek the meaning of our unrest.

Remember just a few days ago when the moon wasn't quite full?

How do you feel?

Was there a calling to your soul?

Did you wonder at the tightness in your emotions?

Did you feel a longing for meaning with a dilemma you may have had?

Or were you seeking understanding for a family issue?

What were you feeling a little over a week ago?

The moon went direct just over a week ago.

What was your experience with your emotions after that?

Can you connect with the feeling you had on the day the moon went full?

And how do you feel?

Do you feel a release from the emotional toll it has given you?

Did you experience the knowingness that the moon provides?

Did you feel comfort that the emotions you were feeling were just the perfect experience for you?

During the time of a full moon,

Opposing forces can create inner tension and external pressures and can lead to conflict and crisis that drain our energy.

Take time in the stillness and focus on some opposing forces that can create inner tension,

Such as family obligations in your self-care,

Work obligations in taking time to renew,

Connection with others in your own free time,

Your wants and needs,

Perhaps your desires and your financial obligations.

These opposing forces can make us think,

Reflect in the stillness on this inside you.

With a full moon,

We can reflect with the coming of the new decade we can attract.

Let us reflect,

Take a few moments to reflect on the past month,

Year,

Decade.

Let us reflect on something you may need to heal from the past month,

Year and decade.

Now reflect on something that made you feel great joy from the past month,

Year and decade.

Let us attract something that we are yearning for or going as we go into our next month,

In the next year,

In the next decade.

What is it you want to experience more of?

Rest in the stillness.

What is your intention?

Where are you building a firm foundation?

What does teamwork and relationships look like for you?

What wholeness and infinite potential is seeking you?

Now let's create an affirmation that you can take with you into the new year.

And you might want to write this down.

What do you want to heal from?

Stated in the form of release,

For example,

I release negative feelings and views of my body or I release worry about the future or I let go of fear.

What is it you want to heal from?

Now,

What is your intention?

What is it that you are seeking?

Stated in the form of a positive and encouraging phrase.

For example,

I celebrate my body.

I am strong and healthy.

Or I am flexible regarding my future.

Something like I embrace love and joy.

Put the two together.

For example,

I release worry about the future and I am flexible moving forward.

If you take time,

You might want to write it down.

What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?

20?

40?

Allow yourself to embrace your wholeness.

Allow yourself to let go of thinking that does not build you up.

If you have thoughts and feelings that tear you down,

Embrace the perfect person you are today right now in this present moment.

Nowhere is this more apparent than when we experience this together.

Go to the center of you in the quiet of you in the stillness.

Contemplate this.

Take a look at your affirmation.

And in the stillness.

Focus on what it is you need to heal and what it is you want to move on from.

In the stillness.

And I will meet you on the other side in the silence.

Know that you are more powerful beyond your deepest dreams.

You are the very essence of the wholeness you seek.

You are the aliveness.

You are what you need.

And you go deep inside your soul and ask.

You get the answers you are seeking.

You are the perfect embodiment of you.

And you are loved.

As we let go of the energies of a full moon and walk forward into the presence of the now.

Let us welcome all that we need today.

Let us feel free to feel.

Remembering that you are loved and in this journey towards 2020 and beyond.

Let us understand that our focus is from our hearts desire and we are loved.
