Love yourself into forgiveness. Ho'oponopono is the Hawaiian Code of Forgiveness. Ho'o means to 'to make' and 'pono' means right. Repeating pono two times makes it 'doubly right'. In this guided practice, you will love yourself into forgiveness and send forgiveness to another.

Well today,

Let's take a look at Ho Ho Pono Pono,

Which means to make right.

It is an ancient Hawaiian forgiveness meditation,

And it essentially means to make it right with your ancestors or make it right with the people with whom you have relationships.

The original purpose of Ho Ho Pono Pono was to correct the wrongs that had occurred in someone's life,

Including your ancestors.

But today,

We will take it into what's happening with us.

We will be able to forgive and love ourselves in our own forgiveness.

So let us settle in and nurture ourselves into our meditation space.

As you close your eyes and give a deep breath in,

Exhaling completely all of the energies that brought you here right now.

Just settle in to that meditation space.

Let us begin with the heart space.

Allow yourself to feel your heart and the unconditional love and the divine love that you have within you.

As we begin this practice to love ourselves into forgiveness,

Let us start with the vision of you as a young child.

Bring to mind yourself as a young child.

And these words that we say,

Speak that to your little one.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Keep that little child in mind and forgive anything that needs to be forgiven.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Now see yourself as a young child,

A little bit older,

And repeat those words to yourself as a young child.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

And as you continue to breathe deep,

Allow yourself,

Allow that child to grow into their teenage years and see yourself as a teenager.

And forgive whatever you need to forgive.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

And to every cell of your body,

As well as the cells of that teenager,

Send forgiveness.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Now allow that child,

That teenager to grow into a young adult,

Seeing in your mind's eye yourself as a young adult.

And send forgiveness.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

And let's bring that young adult into a mature adult,

Seeing yourself as a teenager,

As a teenager.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

And to a mature adult,

Seeing yourself in that phase,

Send some forgiveness.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

And once again,

To that mature adult,

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Now let's bring your attention around to the you of who you are today.

To the you that you can embrace right now.

And say these words of forgiveness.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

And again,

To that mature adult who you are right now,

That person that you are right now.

These loving words of forgiveness.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

And now,

With your precious heart and your beautiful soul,

Bring to mind someone or something that you have adverse feelings for.

Something or someone that you would like to heal.

And you know that forgiveness is the key.

Bring that situation or person to your mind's eye.

And repeat,

Forgiveness.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

From every cell of your body,

Allow that loving energy of forgiveness to go to that situation or person.

In these words,

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

And now,

As we bring this meditation to a close,

Allow yourself to go to this place anytime you need to and allow yourself to love into forgiveness.

May you remember to breathe deeply,

Experience completely,

And feel freely.

And know that you are loved.

Content is great. Very calming and relaxing. Recording quality isn’t as polished as it could be but doesn’t take away from the meditation and even adds to the charm.

Thank you, Mary! As I was hearing your guidance, I realized I have much forgiveness work to do toward myself in different phases of my life. That was extremely healing (and challenging). Every second of your meditation was worth it.
