Welcome to this meditation to stay focused and get motivated.

Begin by finding a comfortable position.

Take care of anything that might be distracting.

Open your back and close your eyes.

Practicing sustained attention helps you in all areas of your life.

It pushes you towards your goals,

Achieving your desires.

So just begin to sustain attention around your breath.

Notice if you breathed in deeper because you thought about your breath.

Feel the air passing through your nostrils or your mouth,

However you want to breathe is fine.

Notice when your mind wanders away from the breath,

Perhaps you hear something or think about something else.

Bring your attention back to breathing.

The feeling of the air coming in and going out.

You may notice by simply placing your attention on the breath,

You become a little more calm and centered.

A relaxation starts to build in you.

Allow for it.

I bet it feels really nice.

Let the breath come in and let it go out,

Sinking even deeper into a nice state of relaxation.

Maintain your focus on the breath.

If you need to take long,

Slow,

Deep breaths to focus on your breath,

Do so.

You are doing so well.

You are practicing the art of sustaining your attention.

The breath is always there for you to use as a point of focus.

When you breathe in deeply,

Perhaps you can focus on the sound of your breath.

You can use all of your senses as a point of focus.

Focus what you hear about your breath.

Now bring your focus to your body moving with the breath,

The chest opening and expanding,

The shoulders gently rising and falling.

If you concentrate very deeply,

You can even notice that every part of your body moves with the breath.

Even if it's just a little bit.

Sustaining attention is very important if you want to achieve your goals.

You must focus on them on a daily basis and dedicate your time and your attention towards reaching them step by step.

So practicing the art of focus is a wonderful way of attaining your dreams.

Let's switch our focus now to something visual.

So just gently open your eyes and look around.

Notice that when you look to the right,

Your head gently follows.

When you look to the left,

Your head turns to the left as well.

Look up now and let your chin rise and look down,

Allowing for the chin to dip.

Very good.

Allow yourself to focus on the colors around you.

What's the first color that comes to your awareness and the colors around it?

Notice how your mind just labels them for you automatically.

Everything around you has its own specific color.

Your surroundings are also full of texture.

Notice the different textures of the items and things around you.

Some are soft,

Others are smooth.

If you notice that your mind is wandering away from looking at the things around you,

Just bring it back.

Allow your mind to label the items as you see them.

Nice.

Now just let go,

Allow your mind to wander around.

See how you feel when you don't have to focus.

What happens?

Now let's gain control back over our focus and concentrate on something that motivates you.

It can be a person,

The idea of financial abundance,

Or simply the beauty of self-love.

What makes you feel motivated?

What gives you a reason to smile?

Who are some people that care about you so much in your life?

Allow the presence of these wonderful people to bring motivation deep into your heart.

Every time you succeed,

This person that loves you is smiling.

They say,

I'm so proud of you.

Wonderful.

As this meditation comes to its end,

You can continue for as long as you wish.

After your session,

Notice the focus and motivation in your life has increased greatly.

You may open your eyes whenever you're ready.
