Hello.
Today's meditation is all about getting slow,
Getting intentional.
So let's begin by settling in.
Take a moment to get comfortable.
You can be seated or lay down.
Let your body arrive before your mind tries to catch up.
Feel the weight of you supported wherever you've chosen to be.
In this moment,
You are allowed to rest.
In this moment,
You are held.
In this moment,
You are allowed to just be.
Take a slow inhale through the nose and an even slower exhale out through the mouth.
Let that exhale feel like a quiet yes to being here as you repeat that again.
Inhaling in through the nose even slower.
And then let the speed of your breath on the exhale set the pace of this moment.
As we continue to drop into stillness with your next inhale,
Soften your shoulders.
With your next exhale,
Loosen your jaw.
Let your forehead smooth out.
Let your belly soften.
Let your whole body tell the truth.
I don't need to rush right now.
Imagine your entire system shifting gears from doing to being.
From urgency to presence.
From autopilot to awareness.
Just become aware right now.
Now bring your attention to the top of your head and let that awareness drift slowly,
Deliberately down.
Down to your forehead.
Just noticing.
As you breathe here down your eyes,
Your cheeks,
Your awareness goes down to your tongue.
We're scanning our body here just to notice.
Move at a pace that feels almost too slow.
That's the point.
To let your breath collide into each space like warm sunlight.
If anything feels tense,
You don't have to fight it.
Just greet it with softness.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Gliding down your body,
Just noticing each part as you gently scan your body down from your shoulders all the way to your toes.
Take a moment here just to gently scan your body.
And as you do,
Every part of you can say,
I am here.
I am safe.
I can slow down.
So scan here and allow each part to say,
I am here.
I am safe.
I can slow down.
Now that the body has softened,
Bring your awareness to your heart space.
This is where intentional living begins.
In the quiet,
Under the noise,
Just connect to your heartbeat here.
Now ask yourself gently,
What do I need today?
Not what your schedule expects,
Not what someone else needs,
You.
And let whatever arises be simple,
Soft,
True.
Take a breath into that need and let it fill your chest like warm light.
What do I need today?
Then ask yourself,
How do I want to move through my day?
Slow,
Present,
Gracious,
Focused.
Let your answer float up without force.
Your inner voice always knows.
It just speaks softer than the world.
How do I want to move through my day?
Now choose a single sentence that becomes your anchor for the day.
Something like,
I move slowly and intentionally.
I choose presence over urgency.
I let my energy lead the way.
Or maybe it's,
I allow ease.
Take a moment here to think about what that sentence is for you.
What is that single sentence that is your anchor for today?
Now say your intention silently on your next inhale.
Then feel it settle on your exhale.
Let this intention feel like a home you can return to at any moment.
Repeat it one more time,
Feeling that intention in your whole body.
Now take one more slow breath in,
Then the slowest breath out you've taken all day.
Feel how different your body feels when you give it permission to unrush itself.
Connecting with your breath here.
Take another inhale in.
And when you're ready,
You can gently blink your eyes open on that exhale.
And today,
Move a little slower than you normally would.
And carry your intention with you like a quiet compass.
Let the world speed up if it wants to.
But you get to choose your pace.
I hope you have a beautiful day.
Thank you for meditating with me.
