Welcome to this guided meditation called The Whisper of Springtime.
Let's begin.
Please stretch all your toes for a moment,
Your own feet that in a way take you into spring.
Then close your eyes to begin.
When eyes are closed it's time to travel and now be introduced to the springtime whispering dragon.
It's time to connect to a wonderful springtime whispering dragon.
Take a long and dragon breath in yourself and blow it all out like a fresh spring breeze.
Sometimes the wind at spring can be fierce as it moves and clears up the old.
Broken twigs lay on the ground but perfect for birds nesting their precious little eggs.
Breathe into it all and blow now your mighty breath out.
Cleansing,
Clearing the earth and yourself.
Get more comfortable,
Your favorite dreamy position as you whisper your name to yourself.
Whisper it again to the dragon made of spring.
He is made of nature.
It's birth that begins after winter.
Birds that promise harvest fruit like the apple trees.
The animals on earth rush into action the power of two.
Springtime families is a part of earth life and it's good to reconnect to all that is happening whispers the dragon.
A very kind and pretty dragon.
Smells of all things good and new.
Your heart loves this time of year.
As a child you were a part of it and knew how to play upon it.
And now he asks you to take a rest from technology and daily routine.
Let's go and take a second look.
Flowers out pop,
Pop,
Pop.
Say hello to color and colors.
The springtime dragon whispers.
Just as the stars we gaze upon calm our busy minds.
Spring can help us stop and breathe deeply in kind.
Long bright new green grass sways like a river on his back.
Flowers above his head like the pink blossom trees.
Sprinkling thousands of pink petals each a hushing.
Smell a new dewy morning of things coming alive.
Growing and even glowing.
The sun shines on dewy drops of little plants at his feet.
Nature's design entwined with the numbers of numerology.
Young and new flowers and leaves with Fibonacci numbers and the golden ratio.
This mathematical arrangement often called the golden angle of 137.
5 degrees is the most efficient way to arrange seeds and petals without crowding,
Allowing all maximum sun exposure and space.
Just like humans we all need a little space for the sun to shine on us too.
A genuine biological mathematical phenomenon with the numbers of petals,
Seeds,
Spirals and leaves arranged themselves that correspond to Fibonacci numbers.
Three petals,
The lilies,
The irises.
Five petals,
The buttercups,
Geraniums.
Eight petals,
The delphiniums.
13 petals,
Ragwort and marigolds.
21 petals,
The black-eyed Susans.
The thirty-four,
Fifty-five,
Eighty-nine petals,
The daisy.
Now leaves,
He whispers,
Grow in a spiral pattern around and around a stem to maximize every ray of sunlight and every drop of rain that shall meet the earth,
This living planet of creation.
These spirals form Fibonacci fractions.
One-half,
Two-thirds,
Three-fifths,
Five-eighths.
Seeds packed in interlocking spirals.
Some go clockwise,
Some counterclockwise.
But all Fibonacci numbers.
So springtime brings a vibrant surge of life.
With early buds,
Lush wildflowers and blossoming trees.
It's time for a spring ride.
At the count of three,
Hop on his back.
One and two and three.
You have a bird's eye view.
But first,
He kindly rubs you with a sway.
To the left,
To the right.
Left and right.
To loosen you up and fill you with springtime love.
So please enjoy 20 seconds now together.
Everything can be seen when you are up in the sky,
Looking down on everything alive.
Cruise on a fresh,
Sparkly spring breeze and absorb the power of color.
White snowdrops linger the earliest sign of spring.
Crocuses provide an early burst of purple,
Yellow and white,
Making them vital for early pollinators.
Primrose,
The pale yellow flowers that appear in woodlands and banks.
Winter roses that bloom from late winter into spring.
The abundant early blooming of yellow flowers often seen along hedge roads.
The lesser color dine.
Yellow daffodils bloom heavily everywhere to be brightly seen.
Little bluebells famous for carpeting the woodland floor in deep scented blue.
Cow parsley lines the roadsides and verges with delicate,
White,
Frothy flowers.
Lots of nodding wildflowers with checkered purple and white in a dazzling pattern.
Forget-me-nots,
Low-growing,
Intense blue flowers that bloom along the side of bright red tulips.
A delicate,
White woodland flower appears before the trees come into full leaf.
The wood anemone.
Now black thorn,
One of the first covering hedgerows with bright,
White blossom.
Hazel nut trees produce long,
Golden catkins known as lamb's little tails.
Wild cherry and crab apple trees spring with white and pink blossom.
The hawthorn,
Often called May,
Blooms with white and pink scented flowers.
Forsythia,
A shrub known for its tense,
Bright yellow flowers,
Signaling early spring.
And dandelions,
Their yellow flowers are among the first to wake up,
Providing essential nectar.
Wild garlic,
Known for its white flower and strong garlic scent.
Tiny finger-sized daisies then bloom in grassy green lawns.
Helicopter seeds,
Seed pods from sycamore,
Field maple,
And ash trees that spin like a toy as they fall from late spring onwards.
As leaf and flower buds open on trees,
Like beech and horse chestnut.
Their outer protective scales drop to the ground.
Trees like birch and maple bleed sap from wind damage and broken twigs,
Leaves all sticky and shiny.
Evergreen needles of evergreen trees,
Like holly and pine,
Shed old leaves and needles in the spring as new growth begins.
Lastly,
The spring winds can cause brittle twigs and small branches to snap and fall,
But perfect for birds busy nesting.
It's time to pick up a broken twig and wave it all the way back home.
Catch your eyes on bees and butterflies,
But feel that wind as you slice the air with your spring twig.
But most of all,
As you get closer to home,
When you get there,
Have some time.
With this springtime dragon,
Let him rock and sway you gently one minute from now.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Thank you,
Spring,
And thank you,
Whispering spring dragon.
Please open your eyes to the count of three.
One,
Two,
Three.
Eyes opening bright.
