Welcome to this guided sleep meditation,
Called my baking dream.
Let's begin in your bedroom.
Prepare your pillow please.
Raise it tight,
Making a fluffy dreamy pillow.
Now settle into bed.
Rest your head deep into your pillow.
Closing one eye for sleep time.
Closing the next eye for my baking dream to begin.
Let the eyes inside go round and round,
A bit like a wooden spoon in a big bowl.
Can you stretch all your toes out too?
Ten toes stretching.
Please concentrate,
Eyes round and round and toes stretching and stretching.
Then stop,
Relax everything to begin this dream.
So you will need a lot of things to do baking,
To make perhaps a giant cake.
So you will need a kitchen where the baking shall begin soon.
But first let's make a shopping list with some help.
Begin to summon a piece of paper to come to you.
Clear your throat and ask with a polite smile for a long piece of paper to land in one of your hands.
Now summon a pen.
It has to be a talking pen.
Have it to land in your other hand too.
Smile at your pen and ask it to write down the ingredients for a strawberry and cream chocolate cake.
And whilst it does this,
It's time to get your coat on and whistle for your flying bicycle to be ready at the front door.
So your list,
Your bag for ingredients and money too.
Now just before you leave the home,
Please put the oven on so it's warming up nicely for a great sponge cake.
A warm oven makes better cakes.
Step out the door and mount yourself onto the flying bicycle.
Tell this bicycle to go to the supermarket pronto.
Hold onto the bicycle as you start to hover and then at the counter free,
Run in the air gaining more height.
One,
Two,
Three.
Feel that breeze rushing through you and tossing your hair.
Then a straight line in the air to the supermarket.
Smile back at the breeze that fills your face.
And everything below looks small.
Small is everything when you are up in the air.
Wink at the birds who are flying along too.
Now as you arrive at the supermarket,
You may as well stay on your bicycle and fill the front basket with the list of ingredients.
Keep smiling as everyone smiles back at you.
Flour,
Eggs,
Butter,
Sugar,
Chocolate of course,
Fresh strawberries,
Fresh cream and some baking powder.
Please have half a minute doing the shopping yourself.
I shall wait for you.
Now once you have paid at the tail,
Then tell the bicycle to fly you home pronto.
It's going to be a very light cake after all that flying in the air.
Please get you back in the kitchen,
Putting all your ingredients on a large table.
Ask for a chef's hat and a white apron to come and put themselves onto you.
Take a look in the mirror and see how professional you look.
Ask for the weighing scales to come out of the cupboard.
Then begin to weigh out your flour,
Then put it in the big bowl.
Weigh out the butter,
Putting the butter into the big bowl.
Add a small spoon of baking powder.
Now for fresh eggs go crack,
Crack,
Crack,
Crack.
Adding your sugar correctly and melt the chocolate in the microwave.
Please wait for a bing.
Now whisk everything together with your muscle power and your wooden spoon.
Wandering around watching the colour of deep chocolate brown appear in this bowl.
Ask now for two cake tins to come out of the cupboard.
Ready now to pour the mixture half in each.
The oven is ready,
Lovely and warm,
Perfect for your sponge mix.
Oven gloves on and in they go to get bigger.
Then set the timer for half an hour if you please.
Now whilst the cakes are baking whisk your fresh cream so it's nice and thick for decorating.
Prepare your strawberries,
Clean and cut in half.
Putting some more chocolate in the microwave,
Wait for a ping.
Ping.
Then in no time at all the sponges are ready,
Ready.
As they now come out to cool down near the kitchen window.
Now look there is a lot of washing up to do.
So roll up your sleeves,
Let bubbles and water make everything clean for the next time.
Perhaps a new type of cake.
Just enough time to ring up your grandparents telling them you shall be visiting soon,
Bringing a special cake to enjoy together.
Can you feel a smile on the other end of the telephone?
Now for the fun part it's time to decorate the cake.
So get busy adding cream,
Adding strawberries and chocolate.
Give it your personal creative luck.

Then you learnt about waiting for things but chose to use your time wisely making other ingredients.
You also learnt tidying up after means everything is new again when you need it.
And lastly sharing will make the cake taste twice as good.
Now to celebrate all of this,
A wishing candle like a birthday candle is placed on top of the cake.
You are asked to make a fun wish but before this happens I must hand this dream over to you.
