Allow your eyes to comfortably close.
As you do so.
Come down into your body's weight and volume.
And the movements your body makes as you breathe.
Breathe out down the full length of your body.
Allowing your body to soften and release what it's brought with it here,
And no longer needs to carry.
Let it flow out and away.
In your own time.
Notice the contact your body is making with the surface directly beneath you.
Notice the surface is steady.
Give more of your weight to its support.
Allow any sensations and feelings to be there.
With an attitude of acceptance.
And breathe into these places.
Letting them soften and release what they're ready to as you breathe out.
Let yourself know you're doing okay.
You're doing well.
And soften your attitude towards yourself.
Let it become kinder.
Womba.
Breathe out all demands you've been making of yourself of late.
Breathe out all self-criticism.
Let it flow out of you and away.
Let loving-kindness in around you.
All the way around you.
Let it hold you.
Breathe the loving-kindness into all the places within you in need of kindness.
In need of healing.
Supported by the steadiness of the ground.
Breathing with loving-kindness.
In your own time and when you are ready.
Gently notice the touch of the air on your face and body.
And the play of light and shade through your closed eyelids.
Right round your peripheral vision.
Let it be there.
Let everything be there.
Notice the air asks nothing of you.
Demands nothing from you.
It just is.
Allow yourself to soften into the just is-ness.
Rest in the Just His-ness.
Of this moment.
And Just be for a while.
In your own time and when you are ready.
Notice the contact your body is making with the surface directly beneath you.
Notice your breathing in from the space around you.
And out into it.
Notice you're here in this moment.
And in your own way,
Your own time,
You can draw this meditation to a close.
