Come down into your body's weight and volume.
Notice the air-bent flow of your breath.
And the sensation as air enters and leaves.
Letting the breath slow down in its own time.

Allow yourself to imagine the space around you is safe,
Supportive and comforting.
You can bring to mind your favourite safe place if you like.
Or imagine one around you now,
Like a nest.
Let it hold you.

The weight of your head supported.
Your mind sitting back.
Becoming heavier and softer with each out-breath.
Your mind knows exactly how to sleep.

Allowing your neck and shoulders to soften.
Moving into deeper sleep.
As you say the word,

I can let go into sleep now.
