Transcript

Allow your eyes to comfortably close.

Let your head rest back on the support beneath it.

And breathe out.

As you do so,

Let your shoulders soften and your belly soften.

Allow your body to become heavy and soften into the support beneath it.

Allow the whole of your body to be supported from head to toe.

And surrender more of your body's weight to this support.

Let go of the stuff of the day.

As you breathe out,

Let it flow out of your body.

You don't even have to know what it is.

Just let everything flow out on your breath.

With each out-breath,

Let your shoulders grow heavy and your arms loose.

Let the stuff of the day flow out and away.

Flowing off your shoulders and away.

Flowing down your arms out of your hands and away.

Flowing out from your chest and away.

Flowing out from your belly and away.

Flowing down your legs out of your feet and away.

Out and away.

And let softness gently enfold you.

Allow softness gently in around your eyes.

Let your eyes know they don't have to work hard right now.

Let them soften and rest.

Allow the softness to gently spread to your mind.

Let your mind know it doesn't have to work hard right now.

Allow it to just sit back and soften.

Let it soften and rest.

No need to try.

Let softness bathe and surround your mind.

As you breathe out,

Allow the hard edges of the day to soften and flow out of your mind.

Let everything soften and flow out and away from your mind.

Letting go of the day.

Out and away.

Let the softness bathe your mind.

Let the softness spread to your mind.

Let the softness spread to your body.

This body that's worked hard for you all day.

Allow softness to enter your body.

Softening the shape your body formed in the day.

Let your body know it doesn't have to work hard right now.

Give it permission to rest.

To really rest.

Letting go of the day.

Out and away.

Letting go of the day.

And sense the steady,

Solid support of the ground below you.

Put down the stuff from your day.

Lay it all down on ground.

Lay everything down on solid ground.

I turn your load.

Give all of your day to the ground.

It's just energy to be recycled.

Say in the words,

I let go of the day.

I let go of the day.

As you let go of the day,

Breathe out.

And let the softness envelop yourself.

The self that's been in the driver seat of your body and your mind.

The self that's been running all the shoulds,

Shouldn'ts and should've dones.

The self that's been doing its very best for you.

Let it know it doesn't have to work hard right now.

Give it permission to rest.

To really rest.

Draw it back from where it lies scattered to simply rest.

Rest in this moment here,

Now.

And breathe out all those shoulds,

Shouldn'ts and should've dones.

Let softness surround yourself.

Softening the shape it took on during the day.

And say the words,

I let go of everything from the day.

As you breathe out,

Let it all flow out of you.

Out and away on your breath.

Out and away on your breath.

Out and away on your breath.

And allow a space to open up around you that's just for you.

Give the space to rest in.

Let softness fill the space.

Bathed and surrounded by softness.

Let it nourish you.

As you soften into resting now.

Open and rest.

Rest well.
