Spring is a season of renewal,

Soft beginnings,

Quiet growth,

And fresh energy rising from deep roots.

In this Spring Shavasana practice,

We'll move through a gentle body scan,

Releasing what's heavy and creating space for what's ready to grow.

Settle in,

Soften,

And allow yourself to be supported like the earth cradling new life.

Find your way onto your back,

Allowing your body to rest completely.

Let your legs relax,

Your toes fall to the side.

Let your arms rest easily,

Palms facing up for receptivity or down for more grounding.

Gently close your eyes and invite one long,

Slow breath in and out.

Bring your attention to the crown of your head,

Light,

Open,

Spacious.

Smooth your forehead,

Soften your eyes.

Release the jaw,

Tongue,

And throat.

This is the space for vision and voice.

Feel the breath move gently through this upper space.

Let your neck lengthen,

Easeful and free.

Shoulders drop away from the ears,

Releasing old weight.

Each exhale carries tension away.

Let your arms feel heavy,

Completely supported.

Soften the elbows,

Wrists,

And fingers.

Imagine holding tiny seeds of intention in your palms,

Ready to plant.

Feel the breath rise and fall in the chest.

Each inhale brings possibility,

Each exhale clears away stagnation.

Imagine your heart space gently blooming like early spring buds.

Let your belly soften,

Welcoming breath.

Feel the gentle expansion and contraction along your sides,

Like young branches swaying in the gentle breeze.

Feel the entire back body resting deeply into the earth,

The spine long and supported,

Steady and soft.

Relax the hips and the pelvis,

Grounding down.

This is the root of your creativity,

Connected to fertile earth energy.

Let your thighs be heavy,

Knees soft.

Calves and ankles relax,

Feet fully supported.

Imagine roots gently growing from the soles of your feet,

Anchoring you into the soil.

Rest here in this space you've created.

Your body nourished,

Your energy refreshed,

Your vision clear.

Allow the stillness to hold you.

Softly begin to deepen your breath.

Gentle inhales and easy exhales,

Like the first soft breezes of spring.

Wiggle your toes,

Brush your fingertips lightly against your thumbs.

Feel the spark of new energy awakening your body.

Reach your arms overhead for a long,

Gentle stretch,

As though you're a seedling reaching towards warm sunlight.

As you're ready,

Roll onto one side,

Curling into yourself like a sprout resting in the soil.

Pause here for a moment,

Noticing the steady and softness of your body.

The lightness of the earth beneath you,

And the quiet space you've cultivated within.

With your next breath,

Gently press yourself into a seated position,

Keeping your eyes closed,

And feel into the new space you've created.

Notice the clarity,

The lightness,

The quiet potential,

All ready to grow in their own time.

Take a final,

Deep inhale,

And exhale slowly.

Carry this sense of renewal and grounded possibility with you into the rest of your day.
