Take in a deep breath,

And exhale completely,
Feeling yourself become lighter.

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze,
And bring your awareness to your body.
Feel the strength in your legs,
The steadiness of your breath,
And the gentle pulse of life within you.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Marveling at how they move without thought.
And silently repeat,
There is wonder within me.
Begin to shift your focus outward.
Listen for the sounds around you.
Acknowledge the hum of the world awakening.
Feel the air around you.
Perhaps you're wrapped in warmth,
Or maybe the air is brisk and cool.
Imagine the colors and textures of the space you're in.
And repeat silently,
This moment is alive and I am part of it.
Think of something in your day that feels special,
A chance to learn,
Create,
