Returning To The Room | Dissociation Support
"Returning to the Room" is a gentle grounding meditation designed to help you reconnect with the present moment through your surroundings. Rather than focusing inward, this practice invites you to notice what is already here: the light in the room, the sounds around you, and the places in your body that feel supported or at ease. There is no need to concentrate, change your experience, or quiet your mind. Wandering thoughts are welcomed as a natural part of being human, with gentle invitations to return to the room whenever you're ready. This meditation is especially supportive if you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or simply in need of a moment to reorient yourself. You are encouraged to move at your own pace, with no expectations and nothing to achieve.
