Growing up, many of us are taught that some parts of ourselves are “bad” while others are more acceptable. The same often applies to our emotions. Some are seen as “good,” while others are judged or suppressed. This creates a quiet inner tension that may surface in subtle ways, or only becomes clear as we begin healing and finding harmony within. This meditation is designed to gently support self-acceptance. We’ll ground in the present through a calming body scan, open the heart space, and offer love and presence to the parts of ourselves we’ve resisted. Hello and welcome.

This is Clea from Growing Through Love.

I'm so glad that you're here.

The intention for this meditation is self-acceptance.

To accept the parts that we may feel ashamed of,

That we may have resistance to accept or to see or to acknowledge.

So whenever you're ready,

Make yourself comfortable and gently close your beautiful eyes,

Taking a deep breath through your nose,

Through your chest,

To your belly.

Feel your belly expanding and your muscles relaxing and gently exhale.

Feel your muscles relaxing even more as you let go of what no longer serves you,

And another deep breath,

Bringing the awareness to the connection between your body and your breath.

Notice your body relaxing with each breath.

Give yourself permission to surrender into this moment.

Offer yourself peace,

Even when it feels like in the middle of the chaos.

Offer yourself peace and love as you bring your awareness to this very moment.

You are safe now.

In this moment,

You are safe.

It is safe to surrender.

Notice your breath.

Notice the rhythm of your breath and your body relaxing.

Notice your feet.

Notice your legs,

Your thighs,

The glutes,

The belly and the back,

The chest and the shoulders.

Relaxing.

Notice the tension in your shoulders leaving as your muscles relax.

Notice your arms.

The shoulders and the forearms.

Relaxing.

And the hands and fingers.

Up to your neck and throat.

Notice the back of your head.

Give it permission to let go of the tension that it is carrying.

Give permission to the muscles of your face too.

To release the tension and to just be in this moment.

Bringing the awareness to the breath.

Notice the rhythm of the breath.

And how your body moves with each breath ever so slightly.

And bringing the awareness to your heart.

Notice the center of divine energy,

Of divine love.

Notice it expanding more and more as you breathe with each breath.

And ask yourself what emotion are you resisting to feel?

During this time of your life.

Don't think it,

Just let your inner knowing answer with wisdom.

Not with logic,

Not with intellect.

With the inner wisdom that exists within each one of us.

What part of you carries that emotion?

Don't try to think the answer.

Let it be.

Let it come up.

In its time.

What would happen if you'd offer acceptance to this part of you?

What is the resistance to this emotion protecting you from?

What would happen if you felt this emotion?

If you accept this part of yourself.

Just let the answer come at its time.

And if the time is not now,

Just notice during the day.

Whenever the time is right,

The answers will come.

Often unexpectedly.

And come back to the love of your heart.

Notice the love in your heart expanding.

And offer some of this love to this part of yourself that is holding the resistance.

It is safe now.

To be here.

It is safe to feel.

And visualize the love in your heart growing more and more.

With each breath,

The love in your heart growing more and more.

And offer some of this love to the part of you that is carrying the uncomfortable emotions.

Visualize this part of you.

Being showered in divine love.

And acceptance.

From your heart.

To the heart of yourself.

Feeling the love in your heart.

Being present in parts of you that once felt unloved.

How beautiful is that?

How beautiful does that feel?

Look at the power that you have.

To bring love and acceptance to all parts of you.

How incredible is that?

And notice how your body reacts to this acceptance.

To this love.

To this peace.

And inner harmony.

Notice the energy in your heart expanding so much more.

Because the love grows in the love and acceptance and harmony.

Between the different parts of you.

The love for yourself grows.

And the love for the world grows.

And as you move throughout the day,

Keep this feeling with you.

And when it is challenging to feel it,

That's okay.

Come back to the remembrance of this feeling.

Catch yourself and give yourself acceptance and love.

Whenever you're ready,

You can open up your eyes.

As a new person in a new world.

Changed through love and acceptance.
