In this practice, you will use Reiki energy to clear the room you sleep in, before filling your room and your bed or pillow with gentle Reiki energy to release throughout the night as you sleep. Designed to be done in bed so that you can then go straight to sleep. This version has sacred ocean waves in the background, which continue for eight hours, providing a natural soundscape for your brain and body while you rest. Welcome to this practice using Reiki to prepare your environment for sleep.

Take a moment to connect into Reiki.

Bringing your hands together if that's available to you.

And inviting Reiki in as you breathe in.

Allowing it to collect and build in your hara,

Your lower abdomen.

You might visualise the Reiki as a gentle golden light coming in from source,

In through your crown and down to your hara,

Where it builds and amplifies with each breath.

Begin to be aware of the space around you,

Continuing to breathe Reiki in with each in and with each breath out,

Direct that Reiki outwards into the space around you,

Allowing it to fill the room.

Breathing in Reiki into your hara.

Breathing out,

Filling the room with Reiki.

You might visualise the room filling with that gentle golden healing light.

You might feel it filling up.

You might just know that the room is filling with Reiki.

And as the Reiki fills the room,

It clears out any old or stale energy,

Pushing it outwards and releasing it so that anything which no longer has a purpose here is released back to source for transformation.

Breathing in Reiki to your hara.

Breathing out,

Filling your space with Reiki.

As the energy of the space begins to clear,

You can start to put a seal around your room to contain the healing Reiki energy to help you sleep and to refuse entry to anything which is not conducive to sleep.

So,

Starting with the floor,

Visualise or imagine or just know that where your physical floor is,

There is also a floor of Reiki,

That it's a boundary,

That it will release anything which needs to be let go of,

And that it will only let that which is for your highest good enter.

And if you're used to working with Reiki symbols,

There may be a symbol which it seems appropriate for you to place on the floor now,

And so you can do so.

And if you're not used to working with Reiki symbols,

That's okay.

It's enough to know that the Reiki energy is there,

That you have a floor of Reiki in your room.

Coming up now to one of the walls of your room,

And just visualising there or creating there,

Sensing and intending there,

A wall of Reiki.

And again,

This wall is permeable to your choice,

So it lets things out if they need to go,

And it lets things which are helpful in.

Empowering the wall with any symbols if you wish to,

Or simply with Reiki,

And then coming round to the next wall,

Placing that wall of Reiki there,

Remembering your intentions,

And empowering it with any symbols that you wish to.

Coming now to the third wall of your room,

And again creating that Reiki wall,

Knowing that it lets in the good things and lets go of the unwanted or unhelpful things,

And acts to contain your space.

Empowering it with any symbols you wish to,

Or simply with Reiki.

And finally coming round to wall number four,

Creating a wall of Reiki here that lets in helpful energy and releases unhelpful energy.

Empowering this wall with any symbols,

Or simply filling it with Reiki.

And know that if you're a room which is not strictly square or rectangular,

That's okay,

You're creating an energetic container,

And it will contain the space you're in well enough for you to sleep.

And so before we seal this energetic container,

Once again filling it with Reiki energy,

Breathing in gentle,

Golden,

Healing energy into your hara,

Breathing out,

Directing it outwards to fill the space you're in.

You might see it,

You might feel it,

You might hear it,

You might just know that your space is filling with Reiki energy.

And that any last vestiges of unwanted or unhelpful energy are being pushed upwards and out now by the Reiki energy,

And that this sends that old energy back to source.

And then sealing the container of your space to hold the very gentle,

Supportive energy of Reiki.

Creating a sealing of Reiki in your space.

And again,

This is a sealing that lets helpful energy in,

Only helpful energy in,

And which releases unhelpful energy.

Empowering this sealing with any symbols or just letting Reiki do it,

And allowing your space to naturally keep filling with Reiki as you breathe it in from source to your hara,

And breathe it out,

Sending it to fill up the room.

And then finally,

Turning your attention to your mattress,

Pillow or duvet,

And placing your hands on it,

Breathing in gentle,

Golden healing energy.

Breathing out,

Directing that energy out through your hands to your mattress,

Pillow or duvet.

Filling it with healing Reiki energy to release to you as you sleep.

Breathing gentle,

Golden healing energy in.

Breathing out,

Sending it through your hands and filling your mattress,

Pillow or duvet.

And continuing this flow for a little longer.

Intending that your mattress,

Pillow or duvet will release relaxing Reiki throughout the night,

And that you can be ready to go to sleep whenever you are.
