So you can take a moment and close down your eyes if that feels good to you.
Maybe letting your body be still and relaxed.
Maybe seeing if you can make your body feel like that cooked spaghetti noodle,
All loose,
Maybe a little wiggly.
And then think about your belly,
And the next time you breathe in,
Feel your belly lift up.
And then when you breathe out,
Feel your body sink back down.
When you breathe in,
Feel your belly lift up.
And when you breathe out,
Feel your belly fall back down.
Notice the lifting and lowering of your belly as you take three big deep breaths with your grown up.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
That's one.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
That's two.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
That's three.
Now we're going to say a few things.
You can either say them out loud,
Or you can just imagine you're saying them in your head.
We're going to take a big deep breath in,
Let the air go,
And now tell yourself,
I can do hard things.
Now tell yourself,
I believe in myself.
I am awesome.
I do good things,
And I try hard.
I let my light shine always.
I am strong.
I am learning new things every day.
I don't give up.
I just try again.
I'm proud of me.
I love who I am.
And now taking a big deep breath in through your nose,
And breathe it out through your mouth,
Letting go,
And then opening your eyes if they're so closed,
Maybe wrapping your arms around yourself,
Giving yourself a big hug.
