When life feels like too much, when everything presses in from all sides, you long for stillness, for space to breathe, for a moment of peace, of deep rest. But here, beneath the weight of it all, there is a quiet place, waiting to hold you. You don’t need to carry it all tonight. You can set it down, and allow yourself to rest. Life’s demands will wait, and you can soften into this moment, where only calm remains. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, feel the heaviness of the day begin to lift, allowing your body to soften, to settle into the comfort beneath you.

Hello and welcome.

I'm so grateful you're here with me tonight.

This meditation is a special one that has been requested by many of our listeners who have communicated with me just how overwhelmed with life they feel sometimes.

And of course,

I can relate.

So if you are feeling a moment of overwhelm in your life right now,

If you're feeling like it's just a lot,

It's too much,

Then I hope this meditation helps you let it all go so you can ease into a restful sleep.

When life feels like too much,

When everything presses in from all sides,

You long for stillness,

For space to breathe,

For a moment of peace,

Of deep rest.

Here,

Beneath the weight of it all,

There is a quiet place waiting to hold you.

You don't need to carry it all tonight.

You can set it all down and allow yourself to rest.

Life's demands will wait,

And you can soften into this moment.

Where only calm remains.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Feel the heaviness of the day begin to lift,

Allowing your body to soften and to settle into the comfort beneath you.

There's no need to rush,

No need to do anything at all right now.

This is your time to unwind.

Feel the tension in your shoulders,

And then gently let it go,

Letting your arms grow heavy,

And feeling your hands release.

There is nothing left to hold onto,

Nothing that needs your attention right now.

Allow your chest to soften.

Feel your breath moving with ease,

Slowing down as the tightness fades away.

Let your belly relax,

Let your legs sink deeper,

Grounding you in the stillness.

This is your quiet place,

Where nothing else matters but you and me.

And your rest.

Notice how your body feels,

Growing heavier and more relaxed with each breath.

Let go of the day,

Let go of the overwhelm,

Peeling back each layer one by one.

With each breath,

Feel yourself sinking deeper into peace,

Trusting that everything can wait,

Knowing that it will all be okay.

Allow sleep to come,

Allow it to carry you into deep,

Healing rest.

You are clear.

You are light.

You are love.
