Hello and welcome.
I'm Katie Kermitsos and I'm so happy that you're here with me today.
The intention of today's meditation is to remind you of how special you are,
How wonderfully extraordinary you are,
To give you a loving reminder that there is no one else in this world like you,
And that the world needs you just as you are.
This meditation is especially useful to listen to when you're not feeling so awesome about yourself,
Perhaps doubting your greatness.
Or maybe you just want to enhance your knowing that you are extraordinary,
Deepen the foundation of confidence that you deserve to walk around with in this world.
So take a second to get your body set,
Sitting upright in a comfortable position or lying down.
Take a deep breath in and stretch your arms and your legs out wide,
Reaching as far as you can,
Stretching out to your fingers and your toes.
Hold that stretch for a few seconds.
And now,
Relax both arms and both legs and let their weight carry them to a comfortable,
Resting position beside you as you breathe out.
If you haven't already,
Close your eyes and take another deep breath in,
Filling up your entire belly until it can't expand anymore.
And then release your breath through your nose while you lower your shoulders just a little bit more.
And one more deep breath in,
Deliberately slowing down.
Sending down your pace,
Slowing this moment down,
And filling up your belly until it's full.
And then release your breath through your nose,
Feeling your face become softer,
Your lips become softer as they part slightly,
Your shoulders become softer,
Your body becomes softer.
Return to your normal breathing,
Taking some time to notice the cool air on your nose as you breathe in and the warm air on your nose when you breathe out.
And for a few seconds,
Concentrate on your breath,
Maybe even saying to yourself,
Breathe in when you breathe in and breathe out when you breathe out.
This helps keep your attention on your breath.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
On your next breath in,
I want you to imagine your body slowly illuminating,
Lighting up little by little.
Wings of light are softly emanating from your toes,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Your stomach,
Your chest,
Your heart,
Your arms,
Your fingers,
Your face,
The crown of your head.
Every time you breathe in,
Your light becomes just a little brighter and a little brighter until there is a beautiful golden glow all around you.
It radiates from you and you hover peacefully in the middle of its glow.
This is you.
Shining,
Radiant,
Extraordinary.
You are brilliant.
Your laughter,
Your loving heart,
Your sense of humor,
Your beautiful body.
There is no one else just like you.
And you glow just the way you are.
Right now,
In this moment.
Not when you've made more money or lost more weight or found the perfect love interest or accomplished those big goals.
But now,
Just as you are.
Shining,
Radiant,
Extraordinary.
Every time you breathe in,
Your glow gets brighter,
More powerful,
More solid.
Because you know.
You know the strength of your light.
You know the power of your mind.
You know the beauty of your heart.
You know the depths of your soul.
You know.
You are extraordinary.
And this glow,
This is just the light that reminds you of your greatness.
So take a deep breath in,
Feeling the air travel through your whole body,
Filling your belly.
And breathe out through your nose all the way until the end of your breath.
And as your breathing returns to normal,
Notice your glow in you.
Beaming softly from you.
Because you are extraordinary.
Just as you are.
Now slowly open your eyes.
And as you do,
You may see the lightness of your glow in your vision.
It's here with you now.
As it always is.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
