This week we're meditating about vulnerability.
It's in sharing our heart,
Our truth,
That we find true connection.
And doing so is the space of vulnerability.
It's scary and it can leave us feeling exposed and weak.
And as Brené Brown says,
Vulnerability is the core,
The heart,
The center of meaningful human experiences.
And Bob Marley says,
Being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure.
So today's guided meditation is a visualization that will help you practice sharing your heart and standing bravely in vulnerability.
So come inside,
My love,
And let yourself rest here,
Deep into the core of you that is always home.
Rest in deeply and drop in further,
Closer.
Relax and find her here.
Your soul,
Your heart,
Yourself.
All of you is here.
The light,
The dark,
The dreams,
And the fears.
Be here with all of you.
Open,
Present,
With love.
Imagine your heart opening,
Releasing all of you out into the world.
Watch those pieces float away.
Those memories of pain,
Those moments of shame,
Those visions of joy,
Those beliefs,
Experiences,
And words that are all a part of you out there floating in the world.
Look closely.
Trust your fears of what others will say or do and see the love,
The connection,
The light.
See the comfort that your truths bring to others,
Even as they slide past the judgments from others.
Feel your body vibrate with aliveness as it receives back the love and expands even more.
Be here in this feeling,
This vulnerable openness of your heart.
