Take another deep breath in,
And imagine gathering all the anxious energy swirling inside of you.
Let it pool at the center of your chest,
And as you exhale,
Imagine all that energy dissolving,
Drifting out of your body and into the night.
Breathe in calm,
Breathe out tension,
Breathe in peace,
Breathe out worry.
Feel your breath soften and slow.
Feel your body soften and relax.
Bring your attention to the space between your eyebrows,
Your third eye,
The center of your mind's activity,
And imagine a gentle,
Warm light here,
Soft and glowing.
With each breath,
Let this light grow brighter,
And feel it quieting your thoughts,
Smoothing out the edges of your mind.
Let the light spread over your forehead,
Down to your cheeks,
Your jaw,
And softening your entire face.
Let go of the tightness in your neck,
Your shoulders,
And feel the warmth of the light slowly travel down your arms,
Through your hands,
And out through your fingertips.
Breathe in deep again,
And feel this warmth fill your chest,
Melting away any tightness in your heart,
And any anxiety that might linger here.
It's safe to let it go.
You don't need to carry it anymore.
Now imagine that light traveling down your spine,
And untangling any knots of worry one vertebrae at a time,
Loosening any tension.
Feel your back release its tight hold,
Allowing you to sink even deeper into your bed.
As the light moves down your legs,
To your knees,
Your calves,
Your feet,
And your head.
Feel the weight of the day slipping away.
Your body is growing heavier,
More grounded,
More at peace.
Let your body be the soft rhythm that carries you deeper and deeper into rest.
Each inhale,
Drawing in calm,
And each exhale,
Releasing the last bits of anxiety.
And now imagine a warm,
Gentle breeze sweeping across your body.
It's soft,
It's kind,
It's here to carry away any lingering stress,
Any remaining worries.
Let it lift them from you,
And take them far,
Far away,
