Welcome to this guided meditation for unconditional love.

If you haven't yet,

You may like to prepare your space with a candle,

A pen and paper,

And a favorite beverage.

Set these items before you in a place of your choosing,

And go ahead and light the candle.

If you do not have these items,

Not to worry.

You can imagine everything.

You do not need the items for the ritual to have power.

This meditation practice includes some pauses so that you have time to reflect on the work that we're doing.

If you ever feel that you need a little bit more time than I've offered,

Please pause this recording and take all the time you need.

Take your time to get settled,

Setting up your items if you're using them,

And finding a comfortable position to get settled in your body.

Make sure you have cushions and blankets and whatever you like.

Your comfort and pleasure will be very important during this ritual.

When you're ready,

Take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Imagine clearing the day and whatever's on your mind so that you can fully focus on your practice.

Now,

Turn your focus to the real or imagined candle flame in front of you.

You may gaze at it softly or close your eyes.

This is the flame of unconditional love.

Imagine it getting bigger and brighter,

Casting the light and warmth of joy,

Pleasure,

Desire,

Playfulness,

And above all,

Love.

Allow it to become a huge bonfire in your imagination.

This powerful flame is able to take on anything you give it and transform it back into unconditional love.

Now notice the tension in your body.

Notice the parts of you that resist love.

Think of the addictive patterns you have in your life,

Negative self-talk,

Behaviors that you do that are not self-loving,

The energetic residue of people that have mistreated or disrespected you,

The voices in your head that are unkind,

Anything within you that provides an obstacle to receiving unconditional love.

Brush your hands over your body,

Imagining collecting this energetic residue in your hands and casting it forward into the fire.

Don't worry too much about whether or not you know exactly what these things are or where they are in your body.

This is not about thinking.

Simply feel your body,

Brush your hands over yourself,

And set the intention to brush into the fire anything that prevents you from receiving the power of unconditional love.

Do this as many times as you need to until you feel cleansed and complete.

When you're ready,

Place your hands onto the front of your pelvis or right onto your genitals if you're comfortable with that.

Breathe down low into this area and imagine a gateway opening to the earth below you.

Let your breath be deep,

Full inhales and exhales.

Invite the energy of life,

Joy,

Delight,

Pleasure,

And playfulness to rise up into your body through your core and into your heart.

This is also the energy of courage,

And it is in part the courage to feel your deepest emotions.

Sadness,

Rage,

Grief,

And anything else is welcome here too.

Unconditional love can hold all of these emotions with care and compassion.

On your inhales,

Feel this energy rising up to your heart,

Warming and soothing whatever you may be holding there.

On your exhales,

Feel that this energy also travels downward into the earth below you,

Releasing whatever you do not need.

Allow the energy to run up and down your body,

Following the rhythm of your breath.

Continue with this practice,

Inhaling and exhaling,

For as long as you need to.

Now,

It's time to make a promise.

This is a promise you will make to yourself about love.

It might be something like,

I promise to commit to my delight.

Or,

I promise to open myself only to lovers who see the depths of me.

Or,

I promise to share this playful,

Delightful energy with my lover.

Or even,

I promise to keep this energy for myself for right now.

Keep breathing down into your pelvis and allow the promise to come up from your body,

Not from your mind.

It's not about what you think you should say,

But what you really deeply desire for yourself around the power of true love.

When you've got your promise,

As a gesture of commitment to this promise,

Take a sip of the beverage that's near you if you have one.

It has been witnessing and absorbing the energy of this practice that you have been doing,

And it has heard your promise.

Imagine imbibing the nectar of unconditional love as you do so,

Or as you imagine taking that sip.

Now write down your promise.

Keep the piece of paper somewhere you will be able to refer back to it frequently in the coming days,

Weeks,

Or months.

When you're ready,

Blow out the candle,

Which closes the circle and ends the ritual.

If you do have that beverage with you,

Go ahead and enjoy it,

Basking in the sweetness of unconditional love.

And have a beautiful rest of your day.

I love when newer styles of meditation come along & show me a different way to manage or process emotions. This is one of them. Its one that will be helpful to experience daily, not just for Valentines Day. Thank u for taking the time to be of help to others. Its much appreciated. πŸ™πŸ’œπŸ‘
