This simple meditation, which could be done daily, is a way of checking in with what's happening in your body, mind, and spirit. Settle into your body, moving your awareness through the major energy centers to feel what's happening in each place, then simply listen, giving your intuition and your spirit a chance to talk to you.

Welcome to this simple daily meditation that you can do to check in with your physical and energetic body to connect with spirit and your intuition.

Please take a moment to get comfortable.

I like to do this one seated,

But whatever position feels right for you is just fine.

Feel free to move around,

Fidget,

Even stretch if you need to.

Check in with your breath,

Noticing how a deeper breath feels for you.

As you settle into stillness,

Take a moment to acknowledge the seat beneath you,

The earth beneath you,

The land that you are on and your relationship with this land.

Now imagine that you are connecting with the center of the earth,

From your tailbone all the way down your legs and the soles of your feet.

Imagine roots connecting from your tailbone down your legs into the center of the earth.

Take a couple of breaths here,

Just noticing your lower body and how it feels.

Now move your awareness up into your lower belly.

Breathe into this area between your belly button and your pubic bone.

Allow your breath to move into and fill this area,

Simply noticing how it feels.

We're simply noticing sensations right now.

We don't need to judge what we're noticing.

We don't need to change it or fix it.

Simply notice what the sensations are.

They might have a color,

A texture,

A movement.

Simply notice.

Now move your awareness up to your solar plexus,

Your stomach area,

Just above the belly button.

Notice how this area feels.

If your breath can move here.

Now move up into your heart area,

Your chest.

Take a few breaths to simply notice what's happening in these areas,

Your heart center,

Your chest,

Your shoulders.

Feeling for sensations,

Emotions,

Colors.

No need to judge.

And now your throat,

Your mouth and your jaw.

Notice what these areas feel like.

Simply observing.

Is there tension or space?

Movement.

Maybe there's an image.

Now bring your awareness up to your third eye area,

Around your forehead and behind your eyes.

Imagine that you could see with your eyes closed through this inner eye.

And simply be with this area.

Look with your eyes closed for a few breaths.

Now bring your awareness to your crown,

Just above your head.

Imagine that your energy could connect to spirit,

God,

Goddess,

Whatever you call it.

Feel your energy reaching all the way from those deep roots in the center of the earth,

Through your body,

Up into the sky.

And feel that energy reaching back into you.

Imagine a bright golden light above your head.

And allow that golden light to move down your body,

Gently cleansing anything that doesn't belong,

Waking up any areas that are sleeping,

Softly balancing and connecting your energy.

Feel it move through your head,

Your throat,

Your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your heart,

Your stomach,

Your pelvis,

Down through your tailbone,

Your legs and feet.

And then allow this light to circle back up again to meet your crown,

Creating a container of safety and connection.

Now take a few moments with me in the quiet.

To simply be here.

To listen and to feel.

If it feels right,

You could ask spirit to communicate anything you might need to know today in alignment with your highest good.

Allow spirit to communicate with you through words,

Images,

Sensations,

Whatever it is that comes up for you.

Simply receive any messages that are coming through right now.

There might be nothing,

And that's completely fine too.

Simply offer your attention.

Simply offer your attention and receive.

Take as long as you need to be in this place.

Whenever this feels complete for you,

Take a deep breath.

Thank spirit for connecting with you,

Whatever that looked or felt like today.

Thank your body,

All of its parts,

For everything it does for you.

Gently return your attention to the room,

The space you are in,

The seat beneath you.

Gently open your eyes and return to your day.
