This is the decade I look at life, I look at my life, And I look at what changes I deeply desire. This is the decade I find the path to accept the things I cannot change. It's the decade I transform myself in those areas that eat at me and pick at me. It's the decade I make changes in beliefs, Expectations, And behaviors. This is the decade where I put in the work to prioritize what I want results in. This is the decade I step out of every decade previous and stand firmly as me. This is the decade I get smart with when to work and when to rest, And that includes emotional and energetic work, Emotional and energetic rest. It's the decade I grieve and mourn my losses. It's the decade I unlock new doors in my life. It's the decade I shift my mindset, Perspective, And judgment calls to new ways of doing things. This is the decade I find and use safe outlets to truly and openly say what I think and what I feel. This is the decade I admit my hurts and where I haven't lived up to my own expectations. It's the decade where healing comes in and cultivates inner peace and calm. It's the decade I abandon those rooted in childhood ways of doing things that no longer serve me. This is the decade I disconnect with the people I know I need to disconnect with. It's the decade I safely talk things out to where there's less pain, Hesitancy, And fear when this topic comes up. This is the decade I move forward slowly but surely. It's the decade I face the tough truths. The decade I accept what I cannot change. The decade I take that uphill road of changing things that I can change. This is the decade I do my life and free myself from others' expectations. This is the decade truth gets stronger than fear. This is the decade love wins over suffering. This is the decade I clear the hurdles inside. This is the decade I face what I need to, I do what I need to, And I go where I need to. It's the year I make the changes and adjustments I need to for me. It's the year I stand in healing and purpose. It's the decade I truly come alive. This is my decade. The one where I live free, Whole, And more alive than ever.
