Welcome to your guided meditation.
My name is Jordana and I'm here to support you as we move from a place of overwhelm to one of ease and harmony.
During this practice,
We'll focus on moving overwhelm out of the body and then we'll choose a new way to be ourselves in the world.
Find a way to sit that feels grounding.
Allow yourself to sink into the surface.
Close your eyes and find relaxation.
Relax your face.
Relax your neck.
Relax your shoulders away from your ears.
Find a lengthening in your spine.
Imagine that your spine could root you into the earth below.
Imagine also that it connects you to the sky above.
Feel yourself grounded and connected between earth and sky.
It's time to let go of overwhelm that's been pulsing through your mind and body.
Notice the sensation of residual feelings that overwhelm may have left with you.
Take a clearing breath to release it.
You'll take the biggest inhale you've taken all day and hold this inhale for just a moment.
Imagine that the holding of the breath could clean every crevice that grabs onto sensations of tension.
And when you're ready to release this tension,
Exhale with a sigh out your mouth.
Go ahead and repeat this for one or two more cycles,
Taking in the biggest inhale you've had all day,
Allowing the hold of your breath to clear you.
And when you exhale out the mouth,
Fully release the mind and body from feelings of overwhelm.
And when you're ready to release this tension,
Take a deep breath and exhale with a sigh out.
Returning to your natural and normal breath,
Feeling the silence you've ushered into your body.
Allowing your breath to bean out just as it is.
Feeling the belly rise with your inhale and gently fall with your exhale.
Coming curious about this natural flow of your breath.
Now with every breath in,
Feeling lightness enter the body.
With every breath out,
Relaxing more into the earth,
Into stability.
Breathing in,
Finding lightness.
Breathing out,
Finding stability.
This is a brand new moment.
This is an opportunity to choose how you want to be.
You can choose to let go of overwhelm.
To fill up with something that serves you.
So hearing these next words,
Listening to my voice,
And choosing to repeat the words in your own mind.
Today I am strong,
I am empowered,
And I am resilient.
Today I draw on the support that is all around me.
Today I realize I need to just do the next right thing.
Today I release the need to dwell on any bad feelings.
Today I release the need for perfection.
Today I know I'm doing the best that I can.
Today harmony and joy are abundant in my life.
Today I am a disciplined and organized leader.
Today I am confident in myself and my decisions.
Today I choose joy.
Bring one hand to the heart and one hand to the belly.
Feel the rise and the fall of the breath beneath your hands.
Take these next few moments to connect with yourself.
You are a centered and calm being.
It doesn't matter what comes up today.
You're making the choice to be here,
In this space.
Calm,
Centered,
Balanced,
Healthy and aware.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in all of these affirmations,
All of these gifts that are yours.
Enjoying them.
Taking as much time as you need to savor your life today.
And as you wish,
You can open your eyes.
