Let's start this meditation by finding a quiet and comfortable space and either sit or lie down.
Gently close your eyes.
For a moment or two,
Focus your attention onto your breathing.
Just connect with your breath.
This breath that is nourishing you and giving you life.
Let go of any thoughts or tension that you may be holding from your day.
Now take a long deep breath in,
Allowing the air to fill up your lungs.
And then exhale the air all the way out.
Inhale again.
Hold for a moment at the top.
And then exhale all the way down your body and out through your feet.
Take a few more breaths this way.
Allow your breath to be effortless now.
Finding its natural and gentle rhythm.
Now let's do a body scan.
Starting at the very top of your head and going to the very tips of your toes.
If there are any sensations of unease or discomfort,
Focus your breath there for a few moments while you visualize peace and comfort,
Love and good health.
Take another slow and deep inhale and a slow and complete exhale.
I'd like for you to visualize a bright,
Glowing,
Golden light shining down from the highest of skies and heavens,
Down onto you,
Flowing to you and through you and just for you.
This beautiful light is filled with love that is bestowing upon you confidence and feelings of worthiness and joy.
And with a deep knowing that you have the power to be anything that you desire to be.
The power is within you to be who you were born to be and who you already are.
Repeat these affirmations to yourself.
I am confident,
I am worthy,
I trust myself.
I love myself for who I am now and who I am becoming.
I trust my inner voice and intuition.
I am blessed with all things that are good and true.
I am true to myself.
I am beautiful.
I am confident.
It is easy and effortless to be me.
And so it is.
Slowly bring awareness back to your body and breath and to the space around you.
Engage your mind,
Your body,
Your mind,
Your body.
Let go of your toes and feet and your hands and fingers.
Gently open your eyes.
Enjoy the rest of your day with confidence and peace and with a knowing that you are the thing that you need to be.
Namaste.
