This overnight sleep meditation was created to be especially balancing for the Ayurvedic pitta dosha, but it can be enjoyed by anyone. People with a pitta, or fire, constitution tend to sleep soundly but can struggle with swtiching off for the night, overthinking and needing to get things 'done.' The meditation includes visualisations and techniques to encourage peaceful sleep and a letting go of the days activities, including a visualization of floating on a cool lake at night, a yoga nidra-inspired body scan, and affirmations to promote calmness, surrender, trust, flow, and inner peace. The body scan, affirmations, and periods of calming music rotate throughout the night, allowing you to gradually ease into deeper levels of sleep and receive the affirmations into your subconscious.
