Hey friends,
Welcome to a JBACs meditation.
This meditation is a self-love meditation where you will become aware of your body and your surroundings.
I would like everyone to lay down on the floor.
Whether this is your yoga mat,
On the carpet,
Outside on a blanket,
Or with a pillow under your head and a blanket on top.
This is your meditation.
Take three deep breaths.
We will start most of our meditations with three breaths.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Each inhale longer and deeper.
Each exhale allowing you to let go a little bit more.
Once you have completed these three breaths,
You can continue to breathe this way throughout the meditation.
Or simply find a breath that allows you to feel safe and supported by your body.
This meditation will focus on bringing attention to your body and your surroundings.
You may start to notice the floor and how it is supporting your entire backside.
From your beautiful head,
Your strong shoulder blades,
Your luscious booty,
Your amazing calves in the bottom of your heels.
Wherever your mind is right now,
As it may wander from here and there,
Allow yourself to acknowledge those thoughts and know that they will be waiting for you if they truly serve you once this meditation is complete.
As we feel our body with the floor and within our surroundings,
You may always bring yourself back to your backside that is being supported by simply telling yourself,
I am here.
I am present.
I am with my body and finding your breath again.
Draw attention to your body.
Bring awareness to the back of your head.
The support that your head is being given and the knowledge that you contain within.
It allows you to think beautiful thoughts.
Thoughts that cause us happiness.
Thoughts that bring us joy and love.
You are supported by what is below you and for all of those amazing thoughts that you have.
Bring awareness to your upper back.
Pull your shoulders back just slightly.
Feeling your strength flow through you.
You are strong and your shoulders carry so much of that strength for yourself and for others.
Let your awareness flow down your arms and fingers.
If your hands are in a fist,
Let them release and fall loose.
Open your hands up to the sky if they are turned towards the surface.
Allow for your awareness to feel any slight breeze or temperature around you.
Your hands are able to hold yourself,
Hold others,
And they allow you to feel and spread love.
If your mind has begun to wander,
You are here.
You are present.
You are with your body.
Your awareness will now be brought to your torso where your heart and your belly are.
You have a beautiful heart that expresses love and gratitude to yourself.
Notice your belly as you breathe,
As it expands and releases with each breath.
Moving down to your hips and everything in between,
Feel the material of clothing on your skin and how it holds you,
The feelings you're able to feel within this area.
As your awareness guides down your legs,
Envision a feather slowly tracing down,
Feeling touched by gentleness from your quads,
Knees,
Shins,
And ankles.
Imagine your awareness finally reaches your feet with socks,
Shoes,
Or bear.
Imagine your feet being planted and what makes you feel most grounded,
Whether this is sand,
Grass,
Or water.
Notice what will ground you.
You can curl your toes gently,
Embracing the thought of where your feet may be in your grounding of choice.
Allow for your attention to take you from your toes,
Slowly back up the way you went down.
Thank your body for feeling everything it felt today,
For sharing these moments of love and embracing your surroundings of the floor,
Your clothing,
The temperature surrounding you,
And the grounding experience you chose.
Once your mind's eye brings you back to the crown of your head,
Repeat to yourself,
Whether you're out loud or inside,
I am a powerful being full of love for myself.
Open your eyes.
Thank you so much for taking this meditation with me and take your time bringing yourself back online from your meditative state.
And know that your biggest advantage in life is to love yourself deeply and fully.
Peace love y'all.
