Hello,
My friend and welcome to Move Toward with Jenna,
Where we learn how to move toward all parts of ourselves with curiosity and compassion.
In today's meditation,
We will invite divine healing to bring comfort to a part of us that is in pain or distress.
So when you're ready,
Taking just a moment to settle into your body,
Allowing your shoulders to settle back,
Your head to lift and breathing in deeply through the nose and exhaling deeply through the mouth.
Being fully present to your body,
Mind and spirit right now in this moment.
And as you do so,
Beginning to become aware of the fact that you are deeply surrounded in divine love.
Taking a moment to begin to become aware of that divine love and light that is at all times both within you in your deepest core and also surrounding you.
Surrounding you with bright,
Comforting,
Safe light.
Allowing yourself to settle into the awareness of that loving,
Divine light in whatever way feels most comfortable for you right now.
When you're ready,
Take a moment to invite the part of you that is carrying pain or distress to come forward in your mind's eye.
Taking a moment just to notice how this part of you shows up when it's activated.
It may bring certain sensations to your physical body,
Certain emotions or thoughts to your mind,
Or you may even get an image of this part of you in your mind's eye.
However you become aware of this part of you that is feeling pain or distress,
Let it be truly present with you.
And begin with your breath to just send loving kindness to this part of you,
Even if it has been creating difficulty or challenges in your life.
Getting into that loving white light that is within you and surrounding you and beginning to extend that loving kindness,
That white light to this part of you that is in pain.
Really taking a moment to invite in the divine presence to your encounter with this part of you.
Really allowing that divine presence to take whatever shape it takes without any assumptions or preconceived notions,
Just receiving whatever emerges.
And if it feels right,
Letting this hurting part of you share with you in the divine what it's been like to carry this pain,
Maybe for many,
Many years.
It may wish to show you some memories or some images,
Just allowing that sharing to unfold in whatever way seems right.
And whenever it feels like this part of you has had the opportunity to fully share everything that it would like to share,
Allow it to gather from inside of itself all of the energy,
All of the energy,
Sensations,
Feelings,
Everything associated with this painful experience and related to this struggle and bring all of that energy into its palms,
The palms of its hands.
And then inviting this part of you,
If it would like,
To release as much or as little of this painful energy as it would like to,
To the divine.
Simply surrendering it and releasing it.
And whenever that releasing feels complete for now,
Allowing this part of you to really receive in that living,
Loving light of the divine.
And as that light really soaks in its loving presence to this part of you,
If you would like to let it penetrate from this part of you into all of who you are,
Body,
Mind and spirit feeling the lightness and the joy and the love permeating every pore of your being,
Being held in the divine love and healing and care.
And whenever you are ready,
Gently allowing whatever images may have come to mind or feelings or sensations to dissolve back into your awareness,
Carrying this lightness and this light with you wherever you go today.
Thinking that you can return to this meditation as often as you would like,
Anytime you may be feeling distress or pain that you would like to invite divine love to come to.
