
Self-Healing Session Through Intuitive Touch

Learn a traditional Reiki self-healing practice through this simple guided self-healing session. Allow my voice to guide you into a deeply relaxed space, where you place your hands on different parts of the body to intuitively connect and self-soothe, with the intention of moving energy from the crown chakra down the body to be more grounded into the root. This session teaches you to become your own energy healer and tap into the wisdom that is already deep within you.

Hello and welcome to this hands-on self-healing session with me,
Jane Lyon,
An Energy Master.
If you've ever done any Reiki training before,
Then you'll definitely be familiar with this practice,
But if you haven't,
I welcome you into this space.
You are about to discover the power that you hold within your two hands.
So for this healing session,
We're going to tune in through a short meditation with some breathing,
Then we are going to use our hands to move energy,
To self-soothe,
To self-massage,
All starting from the crown of the head,
Working our way chakra by chakra,
All the way down to the roots at the bottoms of the feet.
So you can join me sitting up or lying down,
Whatever feels best to you,
Wearing any kinds of clothes that feel most comfortable,
Whether there's fabric between your hands or you want skin to skin.
This is about energy and heat moving and really using intuitive self-touch as a way to deeply connect with yourself and learn to start healing your own energy.
So the best part about this practice is that there really is no right or wrong.
This is about trusting in your own inner healer to guide you and really letting your hands be the magic magnets moving exactly where they're meant to go and also listening to the little whispers that come up during the session.
So if you're ready,
Let's begin.
Go ahead and get comfortable,
Letting your body relax and letting go of any resistance,
Any tension,
Any momentum.
And let's start by breathing in,
Exhaling to get present and let go.
Breathing in,
Nice long exhale to let go.
In,
And nice long exhale.
That exhale for as long as you can,
Coming to the very bottom of the breath,
Pushing out the air at the bottom,
And slowly breathing in to fill the belly,
The lungs,
The chest,
The ribs,
Sipping in a little bit more air at the top here,
And exhaling a nice long slow exhale.
Holding the breath at the bottom,
Pushing out all that extra air,
And slowly filling the belly,
The ribs,
The chest,
A little more air,
Feeling that fullness at the top,
Expanding and stretching the lungs,
And slowly one last long exhale.
As slow and long as you can,
Pushing out all of the air at the bottom and holding the breath at the bottom for a count.
And when you're ready,
Let's take a big breath in,
To your body,
Energy,
Your mind,
And slowly feeling the subtle energies of your body slowing down as we move into a more relaxed and down-regulated state.
Dropping down into the heart,
Breathing into the heart,
What are your intentions for this self-healing session?
Why are you here?
What are you here to receive?
And without looking for the answers,
Just allow them to arise for you.
And as you see that intention coming through,
That word,
Let's breathe into it.
Exhale to feel the energy of that word start to run from the heart into the palms of the hands and starting to feel a little tingling heat in the palms of the hands,
Bringing all your awareness now to that tingling sensation in the palms of the hands.
As we start to feel that activation in the palms of the hands,
We can increase it by bringing those palms together starting to bring some friction into the hands,
Letting the heat of that intention,
The energy of that intention,
Start to build in the heat between the hands.
And I'm going to guide you through different postures of where to put the hands,
But I want you to let your hands move to where exactly they're meant to be.
So breathing in,
We're going to start by covering the eyes with the hands,
Creating some darkness for the eyes,
Feeling that heat from the hands,
Permeating into the mind space,
The third eye,
And taking a few breaths in here.
Beautiful.
Staying there if that's feeling good to you,
Or we can start to press the fingertips into the palms of the hands,
Massaging the forehead,
Temples,
Jaw,
Face,
Connecting with the face.
The next posture we can move the hands are going to be over the ears,
Covering the ears completely,
Allowing some heat and silence.
Over those ears,
Feeling that heat permeating into the ears,
Breathing in,
Fixing the mind,
Getting a rest from all the noise.
Option to stay here,
Or we can start to press the fingers into the ears and start to massage around the ears.
We're even starting to make our way into the scalp,
Massaging the scalp,
Fixing the mind.
This next posture,
We're going to let fingertips touch on the crown of the head,
Right hand covers right side of the head,
Left hand covers left side of the head,
And however your hands land on the top of your head is perfectly right.
Breathing into your hands and starting to feel the heat from the hands,
Permeating into the mind space,
Starting to flood energy,
Healing,
Cleansing,
Whatever that intention is that you set is moving down from the crown,
Clearing,
Cleansing,
Renewing the mind space.
Feel that energy moving downwards,
Staying there if you'd like to,
Or we can continue to massage the scalp,
Start to move that energy down to the root of the skull.
Maybe starting to pull that energy now down the back of the neck,
Self-massage,
Pulling that energy down the back of the neck,
And giving those traps,
Those muscles on the tops of the shoulders a nice massage by just pressing into them and pulling that energy forward towards your heart.
We carry so much on our shoulders,
So you can use this time to self-massage throughout these tense parts,
Any way that feels intuitively right to you.
Maybe pulling that energy down the throat,
And eventually letting our hands land on the heart.
Wherever your hands land on your heart is perfect,
And as you arrive there at the heart chakra,
Just pause,
Feeling the heat from the hands permeating into the heart,
Breathing in and out of that beautiful heart chakra.
As we're here connecting with the heart,
Can you say something kind to yourself like,
I love you,
Using your own name,
I love you,
I love you,
I love you.
Is there anything else coming up in your heart here,
Any little whispers that we can listen to in the heart?
As we breathe into that heart chakra,
We can also explore some other modes of maybe tapping around the heart,
Maybe massaging into that heart cavity,
Maybe making big circles with the hands to make more heat around that heart.
Let your intuition and your hands guide you.
Be with your heart,
And start to open a little more.
Those knots that feel tight,
Those blockages,
Breathe into them.
Feel free to pause and stay with your heart for as long as you need to.
As you feel ready to move on,
We can press that energy across the chest towards the shoulders,
Criss-crossing the arms,
Giving the shoulders a little squeeze,
And starting to massage down both of the arms.
You're going to start to notice your hands are really warm,
Your body temperature is increasing,
That's because we're moving energy.
So we're letting that heat move the energy down the arms,
Into the forearms,
The wrists,
Giving the palm of your hand a little massage.
Thanking your hands for their healing powers,
Pulling that energy up each fingertip.
Switching sides when you're ready.
Energy intuitive massage down those arms,
Opening up those portals of the wrists with a little squeeze,
Massaging the palm of the other hand.
Up each fingertip.
Well,
Now we can come back to rubbing the hands together if we'd like,
Get some more heat moving,
Some more energy,
And then we'll bring the hands to the belly.
Holding the belly now,
Relax the belly,
Let it flop into the hands.
How does it feel to hold your belly?
This can be such a vulnerable place for so many of us,
Mostly because it represents your solar plexus,
Your identity,
Your ego,
The way you show yourself to the world.
Can you hold yourself and rest and let go and remind yourself it's safe to be who I am?
I'm loved as who I am,
And I shine as who I am.
Can you hold yourself and your belly,
Breathing in?
Staying there if that's feeling nice,
Or we can start to make big circles on the belly.
This is really good for the chi and the belly,
The digestive system,
Deeper connect with that belly.
Massaging the belly and starting to pull that energy backwards towards the sacral,
The lower back,
The kidneys,
Warming up.
Massaging that energy there,
And maybe just placing the hands right on that lower back,
Wherever feels most nourishing to you.
Feeling that heat from your hands running into that sacral,
Breathing into it.
Staying there if you'd like to,
Or continuing to massage around that sacral,
And maybe pull that energy back towards the front of the sacral,
And bringing the hands to the womb space.
Whether you have a womb or not,
The energy is still there.
So right hand on right side,
Left hand on left,
Making a little sacred triangle right over that womb,
Feeling the heat from your hands permeating into that womb space,
Listening,
Feeling that sacred vessel filling with beautiful healing light.
Staying in that womb space for as long as you need to.
If you're ready to continue,
We can start to bring that energy into the roots by pressing into the hips,
Beginning to massage the thighs.
The root chakra starts at the root of the spine and runs all the way down to the bottoms of the feet.
So you could give your knees some love,
Massaging the knees,
Bringing both hands to the knees,
Heating the knees,
Thanking them for bringing you forward in life.
And continuing to pull that heat and that energy down the roots,
Massaging down the calves,
The shins,
Especially into the ankles,
Opening up those portals of the ankles.
And as we get to the ends of the roots,
Let's put both hands on top of it,
Starting to feel that energy grounding down to the bottoms of the roots.
So many of us have so much energy up in our higher chakras,
In our thinking energy,
In our spiritual energy,
In our intellectual energy,
And so many of us want to pull that energy down to ground into the earth,
Into the feet.
It is so important to ground this energy as much as possible through this process.
So as you feel that connection to the ankles,
We can start to massage again through those ankles and make our way into the feet.
I want you to look at your feet,
Honor your feet,
And start to massage them just by using your thumbs,
Gently pressing the thumb into the heel,
And start to work your way upwards,
Feeling all those little pressure points on the foot and all the ways that you feel an energetic reaction,
Little intuitive acupressure,
As I like to call it.
Those feet,
Thanking your feet,
They carry us everywhere.
They're our sole connection with the earth.
They take on so much every day,
So give your feet some love.
Once you feel complete from one foot,
Switch sides,
Make sure the toes feel nice and warm.
Make sure that the feet feel the heat from your hands and that they feel your love and appreciation.
We're going to take the palm of the left hand and we're going to hold it in the palm of the right foot so that the portal of the foot are touching.
Then if you can,
We're going to take the right hand and do the same thing on the left foot,
Right hand portal.
We're in a little bit of a crisscross applesauce full circuit here,
Where the energy can flow from the heart,
Down the arms,
Through the bottoms of the hands,
Up through the legs,
Into the hips,
Up through the belly,
Into the heart again,
And up through the throat,
Through the top of the head where it circles back down,
Into the heart.
So you can just feel the way that the energy is flowing through you now,
Breathing into the heart,
Exhaling to feel it flow down your arms,
Through the hands,
Into the feet,
Up the legs,
Up through the belly,
Throat,
Into the heart.
Staying here for as long as you need until you feel complete.
And as you feel complete,
You can release your hands to a more comfortable seated posture.
And notice how you're feeling now after this hands-on self-healing session,
Breathing in.
And as you're settling in here,
I would like to wrap this up by setting your shield.
So let's start by breathing into the heart and giving the heart energy a color.
Whatever color you see your heart chakra glowing,
See it that way now,
Breathing into that glowing heart chakra,
Seeing that color in a little sphere shape around the heart.
And as we exhale,
That sphere of light expands and grows around that.
Breathing into that glowing heart chakra again,
And exhaling to feel that glowing sphere of light expanding.
Continuing to breathe into this heart and expanding this sphere from your heart chakra until it is big enough to completely surround you.
As you feel that sphere surrounding you,
Your shield is set,
And we can even use our hands now to just smooth down the edges of that shield.
Any weak spots,
Bring energy into that shield,
Acknowledging that only those with the most loving-kind energy can come through this shield.
And if they don't have that energy,
May this shield transform their energy into loving-kindness as soon as they enter it.
Now,
Taking a few breaths to enjoy how it feels to sit in your own energy,
Basking in your own feel,
And returning to that intention that you started with.
Breathing into that intention,
Opening your eyes,
Opening your heart,
Coming back to this world as a more healed,
More loving,
More soft and gentle human being.
