Let's take just two minutes to ground,
Shall we?
You can do this sitting or standing,
But let's start by taking a breath in all the way to the bottoms of the feet.
And from the bottoms of the feet,
Visualizing roots,
Red roots growing down from your feet,
Reaching down into the earth,
Spreading in so many different directions,
Grounding,
Rooting,
And locking you into the planet.
Breathing deep down into those feet and feeling that red color make its way up the legs,
Through the knees,
And through the thighs until we get to the root of the spine,
Where we see another big,
Thick,
Red root growing down into the earth,
Spreading those roots into the planet.
Feeling the bottoms of your hands get warm,
Feeling your heart beating in your chest,
And feeling the weight of gravity pulling you down into the planet.
Breathing in,
Exhaling to feel those roots continuing to grow out your feet,
Out of the root of the spine,
Feeling your hands get heavy,
Feeling your chest get heavy,
Breathing in again,
Exhaling to feel yourself coming back down to earth,
Dropping out of the mind and into the legs and into the bottoms of the feet,
And feeling that connection to the earth that you have always had,
Remembering that the earth is always holding you,
You are always home,
You are always loved,
And you are always guided.
