Jacquie Godsman

Spiritual teacher and counsellor Jac creates grounded, poetic spaces for healing, emotional freedom, and deeper truth within yourself and your relationships. With one foot in science and the other in spirit, her work explores the meeting place between psychology, mindfulness, creativity, and embodied wisdom. Jac’s approach is less about learning ideas, and more about creating moments of remembering. Through meditation, reflection, breath and story, concepts are transformed from something understood intellectually into something felt, lived and remembered. She is not interested in teaching people what to think, but in creating experiences that help them discover what they already know. At the heart of her work is the belief that freedom is less about becoming someone else, and more about remembering who you are beneath the fear, the story, and the forgetting. Jac lives with her wife and fur-baby Humphrey in Australia.

I knew this poem, but I'd not watched anyone read it before - and you did it with a sense of wonder and beauty that really comes across here. Thank you so much, Jac. 🙏🥰

Thank you, Jac! I'm a lifelong runner uphill and also deeply spiritual. Only now, in my 50s, I'm accepting that the journey of discovering my autism and ADHD isn't complete without facing my sexuality too. I can't have those dark places in me anymore. It's nearly killed me - but I'm still here, shining my light. I've long known I'm a lightworker, a lighthouse. I've been called a light by many people. I know I'm here to help heal my family line, which has a lot of sadness in it. My tiny niece was even diagnosed with cancer at 11 months old (she's in remission now). I want to be properly there for her now she's nearly 5. I have flashbacks of what feel like past lives, where I was a green witchy woman in the bronze age, where I wasn't married, but I was loved and protected by my community, and I was a children's teacher and herbalist. In the 17th century I sense my current fear of swimming arose because I was isolated and chastised for being left-handed and different and not married. I was put on a ducking stool and told I had the devil in me. Sounds silly doesn't it, but science is backing up a lot of this traumatic memory now due to epigenetics, isn't it. Funnily enough, when my self started to break down in my late 20s, I experienced psychotic depression, and I had 'the devil' living with me for 18 months. Absolutely terrifying - this black, spiteful entity lived on my sofa and was always there when I came home from work to torment me. My 15 year hetero relationship broken down. I sense my inability to adapt to society, and deep loneliness may actually have a solution, and help me to shine properly. Thank you for helping me. Love is always the answer. 🙏🕊️❤️‍🩹🫂🏳️‍🌈🥰

I'm in bits. Our darling Benji boy, 16 years old, leaves us today. I have no words. Our hearts are cracked wide open. Thank you for this recording.
