This mindfulness meditation has been designed to help you feel calm and grounded, hopeful and strong. I also hope to create a sense of connection between us, during this time of great change in the world... Because connection equals a feeling of safety. This is my own style of mindfulness where I ask myself a series of questions and answer them in my own mind and I invite you along for the ride.

This meditation is a mindfulness meditation in my own particular style where I ask myself a series of questions and answer them in my mind and I invite you along for this ride.

So make yourself super comfy.

You can be lying down or seated upright,

Whatever your body feels like doing.

Feel free to close your eyes if you feel safe and comfy to do so.

And let's just take a few deep breaths in and out.

You can sigh on the out-breath if you like.

There's no right or wrong way to breathe.

And at least three deep breaths to signify to yourself that you are allowing yourself to let go,

To relax.

I invite you to ask yourself,

Where am I right now?

Literally in time and space,

Where is my body right now?

Can I hear myself breathing?

Can I feel my body breathing?

My feet,

The soles of them,

Can I breathe into and out of them?

My hands,

The palms,

Can I hear them?

How easy is it to sense my spine?

And can I feel my breath running up my spine when I breathe in and down its length when I breathe out?

Can I hear silence even if there are other sounds going on?

And in the silence,

Can I feel my heart beating or censored in my chest?

And can I breathe into and out of it?

And if my breath was a color,

A really warm color,

What would it be?

And can I breathe in hope and breathe out strength?

Breathe in hope and breathe out strength.

Breathe in hope and breathe out strength.

And finally,

Can I sense somewhere inside me,

Perhaps deep within my heart,

A smile?

And if I can,

Can I let that smile play out on my lips?

And when I open my eyes,

Can I share that smile with the world?

Thank you for joining me.

Thank you for connecting with me.

It's what we all need right now.

Connection equals safety,

A feeling of safety.

We are so blessed to have the internet to be able to connect in this way.

I feel you listening and I hope you can feel me.

And that is special.

That is amazing.

That is magic.

So be safe,

Be strong,

Be kind,

And I'll see you again very soon.

Bye for now.

This was the loveliest seven minutes I’ve listened to in a very long time. I’d recommend putting it on your playlist to start any day where you expect challenges ahead

Finding Calm, Strength, and Courage meditation is what I needed this morning. To reaffirm my abilities to get through life even if it means dealing with the society in a manner of emotional regulation. Thank you
