Welcome to this quick inner child healing practice.
Today's practice is a powerful tool to heal any emotional wounds that your inner child is holding on to.
By allowing your mind and body to relax,
You are connecting with your emotions and communicating with your subconscious mind so we can start to heal.
To begin,
Sit or lay in a comfortable position.
Gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath through your nose and let it out with a sigh out your mouth.
Each breath allowing you to become more and more relaxed.
Slowly feel the tension ease from your body.
Just surrendering to the moment.
Feeling the heaviness from the day go.
Just taking this moment to rest.
And any thoughts that come to you,
Acknowledge them.
Just feeling your body relax.
Feel a calming energy start to surround you and on every inhale,
Breathe this calming energy into you.
Allowing any worry to leave your body on the exhale.
Remembering that this journey is yours and you are safe here.
Take a moment,
Travel back to a time in your childhood where you most needed love and comfort.
Staying with the first thought that has come to you and not fighting what is there.
See yourself as the person you are now with all of the wisdom and love standing next to your inner child.
You are now here together and your reason for being here is to heal,
Comfort and protect them.
Now open up your arms and feel yourself wrapping your inner child into your warm caring loving heart space.
Stay a while here so they can feel the safety that your arms bring.
Help them forgive whatever it is they need to forgive.
Hold them in your warm and loving arms and continue to see this warmth and love fill them up with joy.
You are now here ready to release them from any pain and as you slowly unwrap your arms,
Feel the calm wash over your inner child.
The space starts to clear of any pain,
Fear or hurt that they no longer need to hold on to.
And when you see the healing power that you've created today,
Make it known to them that they can join you on a path of a beautiful,
Healthy healing life.
And when you are ready,
Take a moment to feel your body.
Come back to the room,
Wiggle your toes,
Move your head from side to side and gently open your eyes.
Make today the day that you smile at what is.
Let go and know that you are now there with your inner child,
Protecting them and loving them as they join you on this new journey of life.
